Throw fireballs from an angle so they have a higher chance of knocking your opponent off the bridge. You can also use fireballs to instantly destroy any block except for end stone and obsidian. You can use that to destroy wood bed defenses instantly.

i have a suggestion. You can also throw fireballs behind a player if they are standing near the void and it would launch the player forwards.
