I hope my words don't come across as harsh or anything but you'll most likely see my lack of word choice really badly here. Keep in mind that this was fornatted for discord so this may look weird.
I completely fail to see the vision, purpose, or benefit for a border so small in relativity to prior seasons. It was one thing to have a soft border at ±25k(20k?) and a hard border at ±50k
(though to my knowledge the difficulty in the further out regions was no longer on hard but rather easy so maybe it wasnt intentional but the 50k border has existed since day 1 so who knows)
It's no secret that no one isn't allowed to say that this server has a cheater problem but most likely anyones whos ever made a base at some arbitrary coords like -16393 -54 42652 knows the pain of getting esp'd right on top of despite being well under deepslate regardless of chest entity count
(This happened to me a total of 4 times, 3 being while I was in said base)
And I just overall feel as if a surface area 7.3x/1.8x smaller
[50k+50k]² and [25k+25k]² over [18.5k+18.5k]² respectively
is an overall negative impact. Thats not to argue that building bases shouldn't have a risk to them, but every seasoned player knows that even the 25k border was a danger zone for any closet cheater with an elytra and a dream.
But that's my take on it, I just make mega semi-autobrewers.
