How any one could be banned on forums?

I saw some players got banned on forums but they can message and use fourms can anyone tell how any tell why anyone could be banned and what would happen if they are banned from fourms?

As far as I know, for temporary bans on the forums, players still have access to their accounts. They can view threads, but just can't do anything like message, react, etc.

Most likely you've seen messages from banned players who wrote messages before being banned on the forum. User's account will be temporarily banned for 6 months after reaching 7+ warning points, for details see here.

so basically when breaking a rule(for example swearing) you get a warning point, when you reach 7 warning points you get banned for 6 months
every rule break has it's own number of warning points, for example swearing is 1 point, while advertising is 7
