I don't know about you guys (and girls), but there are some subjects, that I really do not want to read about in chat. That are absolutely not fit to even talk about on a (minecraft) game server. Among those - but not exclusively - are war, genocide, sex, especially with children, and rape. These subject have NOTHING to do with the game we are playing, and are in NO WAY contributing to a better spirit on the server.

Yet, it pains me that these subject are repeatedly subject in chat. REPEATEDLY. I read, and i get sent examples of the most HORRIBLE things. Someone threatened to do something gross to my child's rear end until his eyes would pop out. While my child was reading the chat with my. It's Minecraft, why should he not read it? Of course the author gets reported, with a decent explanation, but get's punishment for sexual content, resulting in a one day mute. Like, what the hell..... I had to talk to the server manager for quite some time to get this person banned. For a whole week......

Just now, I got sent an example of someone writing a celebrating text on how people where slaughtered and abused during the genocide in the Yougoslavian war. When most of you were not even born, and most of your parents were your age. Children, or not much older. Reported of course, and the person get's punished for "foreign language" .

And there is so much more that makes my heart turn around in my chest....

I know that staff is just partially responsible for this, as they have to follow rules. They are not allowed to make decisions on their own concerning matters like these. But people writing trash like this, do not belong on game servers. OR rather: they should not write this stuff on game servers. Or anything else for that matter if it was up to me.

Now my question is, to the @owners What are you going to do about this kind of people ? Or do you just allow them to spread their sexual filth, child porn, gore, human hate, genocidal celebration, and general misanthropy on your server ?

i feel the powerelesness of the staff here, and that is exactly why I appeal to the owners. They DO have the power to issue rules against this kind of behavior because that is damaging to the server, but especially the people playing on it. Issuing rules against this kind of behavior would actually IMPROVE the server and i believe that is what everybody that has a pika-heart would want. Staff in the first place. I believe that it would please not just players, but especially staff if there would be rules against this kind of behavior that would allow staff to take more drastic measured against it, so that players behaving like this could be actually removed from the server as behavior like this has no place here. So i challenge the powers that be to do something about it.

This is not about swearing. Although wearing is sometimes a part of the problem, this is about people talking about subjects that are completely unfit for a gameserver, in ways that are unimaginable unhealthy. And that can be cane without without one single bad word.

I fully agree with you.People should not be able to threaten and say gross things like that.Almost every skywars game i go into there is atleast one dude saying things as hitler and some other context that i cannot type in.Ofcourse every server has them but pika should add a chatmanager which can block certain words.Its not that hard to do and there alot of plugins that do the job perfectly for free.Sure it would take a little bit of configuring but i mean a server as big as pika should not have any problems at all.

I do not understand this.You don't mute the guy that threatens to ddos me f me and then rip my eyes out but you mute the guy for saying the f word one single time probably out of anger.This is not good for the health of the community and is very unfair.I agree he did swear but only once and as i said before you don't mute the guys who deserve to be actually banned!
