OPSkyBlock season duration
Detailed description:
The current situation in OPSkyblock suggests that whenever new seasons are added, they feel less polished and more buggy.
While it is indeed interesting to see new features being added, the proper functionality of both new and old mechanics should be retained/preserved.
Every new season brings opportunities for players and the server alike. Players get to start a fresh grind session while some make purchases to support the server and gain a slight edge over others.
However, it all feels too repetitive considering a full season lasts about 1.5 months before it goes quiet because players are expecting a reset. Repeated grinding of levels feels more like a chore than something one should enjoy doing.
The full duration of the season should be changed/revised to support players and developers. Therefore, i would like to suggest a small increase in the duration of the season, perfectly balancing between player retention and giving extra time to staff for polishing the game for next season.
I would also like to know about other perspectives, how it can negatively impact the gamemode,or the pika network,etc.

Reason(s):
1. Bug-Free & Well-Polished Major Updates:
Extending the season length gives developers enough time to thoroughly test and polish new Mine Worlds, Custom Spawners, and Custom Enchants before release. Shorter 1.5-month cycles put undue pressure on staff, often resulting in game-breaking bugs that hurt server stability and ruin the experience during crucial launch days.
2. Rewarding Player Level & Rebirth Pacing:
With 150 Player Levels and the Rebirth mechanic, grinding through late-game objectives, upgrading custom gear, and competing for /is top requires significant time. Resetting the economy every 6 weeks cuts progression short right as players reach late-game content, making the level grind feel rushed rather than rewarding.
3. Sustainable Economy & Mid-Season Engagement:
A longer season allows the player economy—such as Blackmarket (Souls), Transfer Shop (Mobcoins), and Outpost control—to stabilize. Adding relatively smaller, mid-season expansions or highly rewarding events after payouts will keep player retention high and keep the community active without forcing a full wipe every few weeks.

Example(s):
- Extended Season Cycle: Increase the season duration from ~1.5 months to 2 to 2.5 months, featuring a scheduled Mid-Season Content Update (e.g., new Mine World bosses that may repeat every season but are only introduced mid season, rotated Blackmarket items, or polishing the game for the next season by testing QoL features) to keep gameplay fresh without resetting player islands.
- Player Level & Grind Adjustments: Rebalance the 1-150 Player Level tasks so early levels act as a smooth onboarding phase while higher levels require deeper grinding. Introduce mid-tier milestone rewards (e.g., exclusive Runes, Level Skips, or Spawner boosters) to keep players motivated across the extended timeframe and change certain tasks and how they are completed every season to make levels feel fresh every time.
