Thrilling news: The new season of OpFactions is just around the corner!
We've dedicated a lot of time to implementing numerous enhancements and fixes to elevate your OpFactions gameplay.

Get ready for an array of exciting new features and improvements coming this season for an even better experience.

First hour: No flight, No wilderness command, No hunger loss, No ender pearls.

End of the world​

We will be hosting an end-of-season event to celebrate the end of the season. At around 3 days before the release, we will be placing reset signs at spawn which you can click and claim a number of rewards; Free items, Free gkits, Millions of in-game money, Tons of free experience to level up your overpowered armor. Everyone will be able to finish their rank-ups because you can get everything for free. You can fight with everyone without the fear of losing your gear you have weeks to gather. So clearly this is the event everyone should participate in! Hop on OpFactions and have fun!​

New! Spawn​

A new season of OpFactions wouldn't be complete without a new spawn area.​

Our spawn area has been transformed to capture the essence of a safari adventure, complete with lush landscapes, exotic wildlife enclosures, and adventurous trails. ​

So, put on your explorer's hat and join us for an exhilarating journey through the wilds of the safari!​

Capture the outpost for some extra rewards.​

Are you looking for some help? There are plenty of NPCs explaining all the features.​

The PVP arena is filled with supply drops that you can capture.​

A new seasonal crate has been added again.​

Our worlds are waiting for you to conquer them.​

So gather your tools, rally your faction, and get ready to embark on the ultimate adventure!​

New! Raid Recaps​

Say hello to our new Raid Recaps!​

With this feature, you can check out your past raids and see how well you did. It makes things more competitive by showing you which group you raided and how you performed.​

Show off to your rivals!​

But that's not all. When a raid finishes and we take something valuable, it will let everyone online know which faction did the raid and how much they took.​

New! Super Scrolls​

Let's talk about Super Scrolls – we have six of them, and they're here to supercharge your gear!​

You can use them just like regular scrolls, but the boost they provide is way more powerful.​

These scrolls are designed to make your weapons, armor, and other items much better, giving you a big advantage in the game.​

The following 6 Super Scrolls have been added this season:​

Applicable: Special Weapons Increases the damage you deal with a custom weapon by 20%.	Applicable: Weapons Increases all vanilla enchants by +1 Level.	Applicable: Special Set Chestplates Triple the chance of crate rewards which have a chance below 2.5% to win.	Applicable: Special Set Chestplates Ignore all mask abilities from affecting you.	Applicable: Special Weapons Ignore all special set abilities from affecting you.	Applicable: Special Set Chestplates Ignore all pet abilities from affecting you.

New! Darkzone Pickaxe​

Meet the new Dark Zone Pickaxe, crafted to enrich your mining experience in the Dark Zone. Like the Dark Zone Sword, this pickaxe allows you to gather essence while mining, which can be used to upgrade its abilities.​

With this new tool, every moment spent in the Dark Zone becomes more valuable and increasingly rewarding, as you improve the power of your pickaxe.​

Auto Sell​	Drops Boost​
Auto-sell the crystals you have mined.​	Increase the amount of crystals that drop when you mine them.​

New! Trading​

Our OpFactions server now has a brand new custom trade plugin, and trading is finally back in the game!​

With this new plugin, players can now easily and safely trade items in-game.​

We've designed it to be user-friendly, making it easy for players to navigate and make trades with ease.​

This plugin is the perfect solution for those looking to trade rare or hard-to-find items with other players.​

We know how important trading is in many games, and we're thrilled to bring it back to our community.​

We've ensured this plugin is secure and free from any exploits, making it a safe option for players who want to trade.​

Updated! Pets​

We've implemented a series of small yet significant tweaks to the pet system.​

These changes have been carefully crafted to improve the overall experience and interaction with your pets.​

Updated! Lochness Pet​	New! Pig Pet​
Like the Pig Pet, the Lochness Pet is now also togglable. Once activated you deal more damage in water. The damage has been lowered to 8% instead of 15%.	The Pig Pet has been returned, and better than ever. Now you simply have to activate the Pig Pet and it will feed you, rather than having to click it multiple times to be fed over time.

Updated! Quests​

Up next in our series of updates are Quests, and we've made some significant improvements.​

​

A neater look.​

To start, we've given the Quest GUI a complete makeover, providing a cleaner and more user-friendly experience. Now, with a simple shift-click on the quest tiers, players can easily see all the potential rewards for each tier, making things more transparent and motivating.​

​

Better rewards.​

Moreover, we've substantially increased the rewards for quests across all tiers. ​

This improvement is aimed at further rewarding players for their commitment and hard work, ensuring that the time and effort put into completing quests result in more valuable and satisfying rewards.​

Updated! Loot Bags​

After our recent updates, we've made significant improvements to all the loot bags in the game, providing better rewards for players who put in the time and effort to grind.​

This enhancement is designed to make sure that the hard work and time you put into the game are more satisfying and rewarding for our dedicated players.​

​

The loot bags that have received upgrades include:​

Updated! Stronghold​

About the Stronghold event, we're setting it up so every faction has enough time to get ready. ​

From now on, these events will always happen on Saturdays and Sundays at 7 PM server time.​

This means a Stronghold event will replace the usual random event on these days.​

​

Don't worry, other events are still on the calendar.​

We'll continue to host random events on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. However, the Stronghold event won't be among these.​

​

Updated! Ingame Ranks​

In-game ranks have been a longstanding feature, but over time, they've fallen somewhat out of sync with the current economy.​

​

A decrease in pricing.​

To tackle this issue, we've taken measures to adjust the costs associated with each in-game rank. ​

These changes are intended to better match the current economy, ensuring that the progression and acquisition of ranks are in line with the overall in-game experience.​

​

Updated! Crates​

We've completely changed the crate system and all the prizes inside. ​

You can now look forward to discovering all-new rewards. ​

​

We've added lots of exciting, rare items and kept the popular ones that everyone likes.​

Fixed! Bugs​

​

We did our best to polish and fix as many existing bugs inside the OpFactions server. We have looked through all the bug reports and managed to fix them. If you come across any bugs with the new release, make sure to report them at our forums under the bug reports section.​

Here are a few of the bugs we squished out:​

• Fixed crowns not being given from events.
• Fixed being able to get too many hearts.
• Fixed not being able to properly set a colored faction name.
• Fixed Mythical Quest Master tag not working.
• Fixed Spawner Outpost not boosting spawners.
• Fixed Sugar Cane Quest not working.
• Fixed lag issues.

Misc. Updates & Changes​

​

Multiple small changes have been made, some of these small changes are the following:​

• Added a new seasonal crate
• Removed the seasonal loot crate
• You can now use /f who and /f show in the darkzone.
• Updated the Quest GUI.
• Slightly changed the percentages on all special sets.
• ...and much more

Question and Answers​

Why did OpFactions reset?​

OpFactions is already up for some time. A reset has to happen to change and improve with new features, to make the game more exciting for you all! This then allows players to have a fresh start and new players can begin to play without any significant disadvantage.​

This means all items, money, and the map will be reset. Nothing will be kept leftover from the previous map. I know this must be a disappointing revelation for a lot of you, but think about the exciting new changes, the new alliances you can forge, the new map, the new features and updates the different kinds of gameplay, and the style provided with this update will surely make it a worth-while and exciting reset!​
