It isnt really about you RAM, it is mostly focused on your GPU, Screen and proccessor

RAM is for example if you have a lot of browser tabs open.
CPU is your main core, this is kinda important for FPS (in Minecraft)
GPU is the main FPS component. For high FPS you need a good GPU.
Without enough RAM and a good enough CPU you won't have as nice FPS, but it's not a big factor.
