There's nothing wrong with people named similarly to staff though, as long as they don't pretend to be said staff member. People can choose their name freely and, as long as it isn't something inappropriate, should be allowed to play.- Surbate

This is not an inappropriate name and therefore should not be a permanent ban. They already get their ban if they actively pretend to be said staff member, but it should stay at that, especially since the other person's username might even be an older one than the staff's name in which case a...- Surbate

I'd also disagree on that, though you can make an additional suggestion for that. For us staff, the scenario now is simple: we see 2 reports on the player, and (assuming that it's valid) accept the first report. I don't think it's very illogical, since it's the same for ingame (barely anyone checks their punishment history before reporting, since it's not required). If suggestions get marked as duplicated they aren't necessarily denied, it's more to notify the member that no further action is required...- Surbate

Just because other servers do that doesn't mean we should also do that. Having bad gamesense doesn't mean you'd need to void into your own goal, that's correct, but if you know it takes a bit of time to respawn in there, you can still try to avoid getting in situations where this is required...- Surbate

Could be considered public shaming which is to be avoided. Reports can also be marked as duplicate if someone else just reports it before you do, not just if someone else already punished them.- Surbate

The main problem is that the expectation for us staff is to always be available for any inquiry players have. I got banned for SS Refusal while I afk
SS refusing means that you were frozen or messaged by one of the staff members, but refused to do a screenshare with them.
