This thread is meant to help players on PikaNetwork better understand some of the most common cheating behaviors they may encounter on the server. This is NOT a guide to witch-hunting or accusing players in chat. If you believe a player is cheating, you should record sufficient evidence and then file a report here, but make sure to read this first. This guide is solely to help players out with recognizing patterns so they will be able to identify cheats and then record the proper evidence needed to make an accurate report.

It is also worth mentioning that a majority of cheaters will get flagged and automatically punished by the Anti-Cheat. This is for players who have found ways to bypass it or have not gotten flagged/punished yet.

Common Cheat Types & Symptoms

► KillAura / Forcefield

Automatically attacks nearby players without the player manually aiming; this cheat can often target multiple players at once.

What it looks like:

Player hits multiple enemies rapidly without switching targets
Hits register while the player is not visibly aiming at the target
Attacks occur instantly whenever another player enters range
The player maintains perfect accuracy while moving all over the place

► Aim Assist / Aimbot

This can assist or fully control a player’s aim, locking onto targets in unnatural ways.

What it looks like:

Crosshair snaps unnaturally toward players
Player tracks enemies perfectly while strafing
The player instantly turns to the attackers behind them consistently

Note: Skilled players can have good aim; you should look for unnatural consistency rather than just one fight.

► Reach

Extends a player’s attack range beyond the normal limits.

What it looks like:

Player hits from noticeably further than normal
You take damage before entering the expected hit range
Happens repeatedly and consistently, not just once
Lag can sometimes cause this effect, so consistency is important.

Note: Players may be able to hit you, without you being able to hit them, without using reach due to various reasons such as combos, taking advantage of eye-sight levels, etc. You should look for repeated and exaggerated hits outside of the normal Minecraft reach of 3 blocks.

► Velocity / Anti-Knockback

Either reduces or completely removes knockback when a player is hit.

What it looks like:

The player barely moves, or doesn't move when hit
Little to no knockback from melee, bows, fireballs, etc.
The player continues attacking without repositioning

► Auto Clicker / Click Assist

Automatically clicks at high and very consistent speeds.

What it looks like:

Extremely high and consistent CPS
Clicking rhythm shows no variation
Continuous clicking without pauses

Note: High CPS alone does not automatically mean cheating; many different clicking methods can produce high bursts of CPS. Consistency is the big key indicator.

► Scaffold / Auto-Bridge

Automatically places blocks beneath or in front of the player while moving.

What it looks like:

The player places blocks perfectly while sprinting, jumping, etc.
Either no camera movement toward block placement, or rapid head snapping toward block placement
Very consistent timing with no block misplacements

► Speed

Increases player movement speed beyond normal sprinting.

What it looks like:

The player moves faster than normal sprinting
Sudden bursts of speed
Anti-cheat rubberbanding the player backwards

► Bunny Hop (BHop)

Allows a player to constantly jump around while maintaining or gaining momentum, often resulting in very unnatural-looking jumps.

What it looks like:

The player moves noticeably faster while always jumping
Maintains speed despite them turning and changing directions
The player has no slowdown after landing from their jumps
Movement appears smooth and consistent rather than burst-based

Note: Some players jump frequently while moving, especially in PvP. That is not Bunny Hop. BHop is typically used pretty blatantly, and becomes suspicious when the speed gain is consistent and is clearly faster than normal sprint-jumping. It is also typically going to have sharp turns or mid-air control that is not humanly possible.

► Flight / Glide

Allows a player to fly or fall slowly instead of obeying gravity.

What it looks like:

Player hovers or floats briefly
No fall damage after large drops
The player descends slowly instead of falling normally

► Spider / Wall Climb

Allows a player to climb vertical surfaces without blocks.

What it looks like:

Player climbs vertical walls without blocks
Smooth upward movement with no jump animation
Occurs repeatedly on flat surfaces

► Auto Armor

Automatically equips better armor instantly.

What it looks like:

Armor swaps instantly during combat
Broken armor is replaced immediately
Happens faster than human reaction time
Happens without allowing time for inventory to open up, or for right-clicking armor pieces in hotbar

► Auto Tool

Automatically switches tools based on the block being mined.

What it looks like:

The player's tool switches instantly depending on the block being mined
Happens repeatedly with no delay
No visible inventory interaction

► Chest Stealer / Auto Loot

Automatically loots chests instantly.

What it looks like:

Chests are emptied instantly
No cursor movement
Happens consistently with every chest

► ESP/Player ESP

Visually reveals player locations through terrain.

What it looks like:

The player always knows where others are
Pre-aims corners consistently
Tracks players through walls or terrain

► X-Ray

Allows players to see ores and other valuable blocks underground/through blocks.

What it looks like:

Player mines directly toward the ores
Very little random mining
Repeatedly finds rare resources with high accuracy

► Auto Miner

Automatically mines blocks or ores with minimal input from the player, typically used with other cheats such as auto-pathing, auto-tool, or optimized mining patterns.

What it looks like:

The player mines in an unnaturally consistent pattern for long periods of time
Very fast reaction to ores (instantly swaps direction and starts mining the ore)
Mines blocks without any hesitation, pauses, or human decision-making
Repeatedly mines exact “optimal” paths (perfect 1x2 tunnels, strip mines, etc.)
Often paired with Auto Tool or X-Ray-like ore accuracy

► Nuker

Breaks many blocks at once at extreme speeds.

What it looks like:

Large numbers of blocks break instantly
Unnaturally fast mining over an area
Not as common, most often used in Prison environments

► Inventory Walk

Allows movement while inventory is open.

What it looks like:

Player moves while their inventory is open
Item management occurs while strafing or running
No slowdown while interacting with inventory

► Timer

Speeds up the game client, making all actions slightly faster.

What it looks like:

Player actions appear slightly faster overall
Faster attacks, movement, and block placement
Feels consistently “sped up” rather than situational

► Triggerbot

Automatically attacks the moment the player’s crosshair touches an enemy, making hits look “too perfect.”

What it looks like:

The player's hits happen instantly, the moment the crosshair passes into the enemy's hitbox
Very robotic timing on first hits (especially when in close-range fights)
The player never hesitates or whiffs when flicking between different targets
Consistently perfect hit timing, even while turning constantly

► Anti-Fireball

Helps a player avoid, react to, or counter fireballs in ways that seem impossible

What it looks like:

Instant reactions to fireballs without any hesitation
Perfectly timed blocks/movement every time a fireball is thrown at them
Never gets hit by fireballs, no matter what the player is doing
Looks like they know the fireball is coming before it’s even visible for them

Note: Some players are actually just good at dodging fireballs; look for unreal consistency over many attempts.

► Backtrack

Causes hit registration to feel delayed or “off,” making fights look desynced.

What it looks like:

You take hits when the enemy doesn’t even look close enough to hit you anymore
The enemy appears slightly behind where hits are registering
Combos against you can feel impossible to break, even when you have good spacing
Repeated ghost hits that don’t match what you are seeing on the screen

Note: Lag can also mimic this cheat somewhat often, so gathering proof with repeated examples is very important.

► Blink

Makes a player appear to teleport and/or move in very sudden and quick bursts due to having delayed movement updates.

What it looks like:

The player freezes briefly, then appears further away instantly
Sudden position jumps mid-fight or while running away
Movement looks choppy in a way that doesn’t seem like just a normal player lagging
The player reappears in the perfect spot to escape or get back into a fight

► SafeWalk

Prevents a player from accidentally walking off edges, making bridging and edge fights unusually safe.

What it looks like:

The player never falls off edges, even while fighting on blocks
Moves on thin bridges with zero mistakes for long periods
Walks backward/sideways near the void perfectly every time
Looks locked onto edges without needing to sneak normally

Note: Players using safewalk will often use it to godbridge, as there is no risk of falling off. But that doesn't mean that any godbridger is cheating, just to keep an extra eye out.

► Macros

Automates specific actions (clicking, building patterns, hotkey swaps, etc.) to make gameplay very quick and consistent.

What it looks like:

The same actions happen with the same timing every time
Instant and consistent item swaps during fights, without fail
Very unnatural consistency when placing blocks or using items
Plays “too perfect” for long periods with no human variation

Important Reminders

Lag, ping, and server mechanics can sometimes mimic cheating
Do not accuse players publicly in chat
Always provide video evidence when making a player report for cheating
Use the correct forum sections for reports

Note: Not all consistency is cheating, but macros usually stand out over multiple clips.

If you believe something important is missing from this guide, feel free to message me, and I’ll try to update the thread with any new information.

I just realized after posting that there was already a well-written article about this topic written by Arrly; you can view it here. Keeping this post as I added a couple of additional cheats that were not included in Arrly's article.

Added it! Thank you for mentioning that. If you notice anything else, feel free to let me know.
add closet cheats, that can only be reported to a screensharer
triggerbot, antifireball, backtrack, blink, safewalk, macros(i got others in mind but if people read this and know how to use them it will be bad)

Only crits and vein miner is too left.
ok so can we not include ultra blatant impossible cheats(like vein miner) cuz they only work on non anticheat servers for example the tp hack(which teleports u 1k blocks away etc)
