This thread is meant to help players on PikaNetwork better understand some of the most common cheating behaviors they may encounter on the server. This is NOT a guide to witch-hunting or accusing players in chat. If you believe a player is cheating, you should record sufficient evidence and then file a report here, but make sure to read this first. This guide is solely to help players out with recognizing patterns so they will be able to identify cheats and then record the proper evidence needed to make an accurate report.
It is also worth mentioning that a majority of cheaters will get flagged and automatically punished by the Anti-Cheat. This is for players who have found ways to bypass it or have not gotten flagged/punished yet.
Hits register while the player is not visibly aiming at the target
Attacks occur instantly whenever another player enters range
The player maintains perfect accuracy while moving all over the place
Player tracks enemies perfectly while strafing
The player instantly turns to the attackers behind them consistently
Note: Skilled players can have good aim; you should look for unnatural consistency rather than just one fight.
You take damage before entering the expected hit range
Happens repeatedly and consistently, not just once
Lag can sometimes cause this effect, so consistency is important.
Note: Players may be able to hit you, without you being able to hit them, without using reach due to various reasons such as combos, taking advantage of eye-sight levels, etc. You should look for repeated and exaggerated hits outside of the normal Minecraft reach of 3 blocks.
Little to no knockback from melee, bows, fireballs, etc.
The player continues attacking without repositioning
Clicking rhythm shows no variation
Continuous clicking without pauses
Note: High CPS alone does not automatically mean cheating; many different clicking methods can produce high bursts of CPS. Consistency is the big key indicator.
Either no camera movement toward block placement, or rapid head snapping toward block placement
Very consistent timing with no block misplacements
Sudden bursts of speed
Anti-cheat rubberbanding the player backwards
No fall damage after large drops
The player descends slowly instead of falling normally
Smooth upward movement with no jump animation
Occurs repeatedly on flat surfaces
Broken armor is replaced immediately
Happens faster than human reaction time
Happens without allowing time for inventory to open up, or for right-clicking armor pieces in hotbar
Happens repeatedly with no delay
No visible inventory interaction
No cursor movement
Happens consistently with every chest
Pre-aims corners consistently
Tracks players through walls or terrain
Very little random mining
Repeatedly finds rare resources with high accuracy
Very fast reaction to ores (instantly swaps direction and starts mining the ore)
Mines blocks without any hesitation, pauses, or human decision-making
Repeatedly mines exact “optimal” paths (perfect 1x2 tunnels, strip mines, etc.)
Often paired with Auto Tool or X-Ray-like ore accuracy
Unnaturally fast mining over an area
Not as common, most often used in Prison environments
Item management occurs while strafing or running
No slowdown while interacting with inventory
Faster attacks, movement, and block placement
Feels consistently “sped up” rather than situational
Do not accuse players publicly in chat
Always provide video evidence when making a player report for cheating
Use the correct forum sections for reports

Common Cheat Types & Symptoms
► KillAura / Forcefield
Automatically attacks nearby players without the player manually aiming; this cheat can often target multiple players at once. What it looks like:
Player hits multiple enemies rapidly without switching targetsHits register while the player is not visibly aiming at the target
Attacks occur instantly whenever another player enters range
The player maintains perfect accuracy while moving all over the place
► Aim Assist / Aimbot
This can assist or fully control a player’s aim, locking onto targets in unnatural ways. What it looks like:
Crosshair snaps unnaturally toward playersPlayer tracks enemies perfectly while strafing
The player instantly turns to the attackers behind them consistently
Note: Skilled players can have good aim; you should look for unnatural consistency rather than just one fight.
► Reach
Extends a player’s attack range beyond the normal limits. What it looks like:
Player hits from noticeably further than normalYou take damage before entering the expected hit range
► Velocity / Anti-Knockback
Either reduces or completely removes knockback when a player is hit. What it looks like:
The player barely moves, or doesn't move when hitLittle to no knockback from melee, bows, fireballs, etc.
The player continues attacking without repositioning
► Auto Clicker / Click Assist
Automatically clicks at high and very consistent speeds. What it looks like:
Extremely high and consistent CPSClicking rhythm shows no variation
Continuous clicking without pauses
Note: High CPS alone does not automatically mean cheating; many different clicking methods can produce high bursts of CPS. Consistency is the big key indicator.
► Scaffold / Auto-Bridge
Automatically places blocks beneath or in front of the player while moving. What it looks like:
The player places blocks perfectly while sprinting, jumping, etc.Either no camera movement toward block placement, or rapid head snapping toward block placement
Very consistent timing with no block misplacements
► Speed
Increases player movement speed beyond normal sprinting. What it looks like:
The player moves faster than normal sprintingSudden bursts of speed
Anti-cheat rubberbanding the player backwards
► Flight / Glide
Allows a player to fly or fall slowly instead of obeying gravity. What it looks like:
Player hovers or floats brieflyNo fall damage after large drops
The player descends slowly instead of falling normally
► Spider / Wall Climb
Allows a player to climb vertical surfaces without blocks. What it looks like:
Player climbs vertical walls without blocksSmooth upward movement with no jump animation
Occurs repeatedly on flat surfaces
► Auto Armor
Automatically equips better armor instantly. What it looks like:
Armor swaps instantly during combatBroken armor is replaced immediately
Happens faster than human reaction time
Happens without allowing time for inventory to open up, or for right-clicking armor pieces in hotbar
► Auto Tool
Automatically switches tools based on the block being mined. What it looks like:
The player's tool switches instantly depending on the block being minedHappens repeatedly with no delay
No visible inventory interaction
► Chest Stealer / Auto Loot

Chests are emptied instantlyNo cursor movement
Happens consistently with every chest
► ESP/Player ESP
Visually reveals player locations through terrain. What it looks like:
The player always knows where others arePre-aims corners consistently
Tracks players through walls or terrain
► X-Ray
Allows players to see ores and other valuable blocks underground/through blocks. What it looks like:
Player mines directly toward the oresVery little random mining
Repeatedly finds rare resources with high accuracy
► Auto Miner
Automatically mines blocks or ores with minimal input from the player, typically used with other cheats such as auto-pathing, auto-tool, or optimized mining patterns. What it looks like:
The player mines in an unnaturally consistent pattern for long periods of timeVery fast reaction to ores (instantly swaps direction and starts mining the ore)
Mines blocks without any hesitation, pauses, or human decision-making
Repeatedly mines exact “optimal” paths (perfect 1x2 tunnels, strip mines, etc.)
Often paired with Auto Tool or X-Ray-like ore accuracy
► Nuker
Breaks many blocks at once at extreme speeds. What it looks like:
Large numbers of blocks break instantlyUnnaturally fast mining over an area
Not as common, most often used in Prison environments
