Sudden Rise In Ping

Is it just me, or are other players also experiencing a sudden spike in ping on this server lately?

I used to get a consistent 140–160 ms before, but now my ping is stuck at 275 ms, and it doesn’t budge. That’s a huge jump — something feels off.

Did Pika change the server hosting location or something recently?

Hello there, my name is Small. And I'll be helping you.
I cannot help you by coming to your house and inspecting the issue, but I can offer some tips.

Let me attempt to help you with some simple tricks:
1. Change your DNS to Google DNS or Cloudflare DNS (Recommended: Google DNS, if you don't know how, search on Google how to change DNS on your device).
2. Travel to another country. I checked your profile, and you say you're from Nepal, which has an OK internet speed. Some countries have bad internet, maybe your provider, maybe something else.
Monaco, Singapore, and the UAE are the top countries with the best Wi-Fi.
3. Try flushing your DNS using the Command Prompt. (Run CMD as Admin, then type ipconfig /flushdns).
4. Use VPN, but ask for permission first here on forums using a Support Ticket.
5. Try different IP Addresses, like top.pika.host IP Address.
6. Try turning off your wifi for 1-15 minutes to let it flush and rest a bit. Especially when it's on all day.
7. Use an Ethernet Cable, not direct wireless Wi-Fi.
8. Check the internet news in your country, maybe there's a problem or something has happened. For example:

There were attacks in the Red Sea years ago, and some cables were damaged in Africa. These cables were internet cables, so make sure to check the news in your own country.
9. Change your Internet Service, maybe the provider's internet is bad, because you said you used to have around 140-160 ms, which is still bad. A consistent and normal ping is no higher than 100. Perfect ping is around 40-50.
10. Change your Router, maybe it is too old and needs replacement.
Bonus tip - Change the PikaNetwork IP from play.pika-network.net to top.pika.host or other hosting servers.

If none of my tips helped you, create a support ticket and ask for help from the Staff.
Answering one of your questions, No. PikaNetwork doesn't change the locations of hosting. But they do host other IPs from hosters.
