Suggestion:
Supporters role

Detailed description:
My idea is to add a "Supporters Team", a group of experienced players in each gamemode whose job is just to help new players. They won’t get any perks like kick or ban, just a tag or a prefix (like a “*” or something) that will let new players know who they can ask when they need help. Their job is only to answer questions and guide new players when they join.

Reason(s):
When new players join the server, most of them are totally lost. I remember when I joined, I didn’t even know what money was and someone just scammed me right away.
Today I’m high ranked, I get tons of questions every day from new people asking how to play, what the rules are, how to get started, and more.
The staff team is amazing (most of them are my good friends), but they are too busy dealing with rule breakers its too hard to work on those reports and try to help nubs . Even during good times, there’s usually only one staff member online, it is just too hard to keep up with everything. That is why I think having supporters focused only on helping would make a huge difference.

Example(s):
  • A new guy joins and asks “how do I get money?” A supporter with the tag answers and helps him out.
  • Someone is confused about where to find the rules. A supporter just explains it in chat.
  • Staff are dealing with reports or hackers, but supporters are still around to help the newbies and answer questions.
This would make the server way more friendly for new players and help grow the community even more.

I don't think there is a need to add a special role just for this. One can just ask their questions in community-help channel on discord or anywhere ingame there many people who are willing to help and mostly the information provided by them is correct.

I think this future will be so helpful for the newest pika network players for several reasons. First of all, the newest members do ask for stuff they don't now, but they are getting ignored by a big percentage of the daily pika members which makes Pika lose a lot members in just a few days. So in my opinion adding this future, will not only make people learn a few things, but this can actually boost the number of members the server has.

I don't really understand the point of a 'Support Team' role when there's both the community-help channel on our Discord server where players and staff members can assist you, and support tickets which let you get a response from our staff team. Such a role just seems really unnecessary, as it essentially wouldn't serve a different purpose than regular players helping in community-help.

I totally agree with what you said, but support tickets are for more important situations. Although OrJoBa didn't mention it, I think that he might have meant that this kind of rule should be used for more basic things such as, how to join a bedwars game, rather that an important situation that can inly be solved by a staff member

It's okay to make a support ticket for any kind of inquiry, whether it is as simple as 'how to join x' or more complicated cases, support tickets are there for the exact reason to get an answer from a staff member, which can then be considered 'official'.

With both this option and the option to ask players on the Discord server, this does not seem needed.

But for some members might be needed. In order to make a support ticket, you must firstly register to get access on the site, some of the members actually don't even have the required requirements to join, such as an email and stuff like that. The exact same thing happens with discord too. Having this third option of help will help a lot of members learn the guidance of the server and a lot kind of useful commands in case they don't know them.

The suggester is suggesting a role on Discord.

This would still require the person to create an account on Discord. It's essentially the same as a normal helpful member, but with a role. The new person needs to go through the same procedure than getting help in community-help

edit: seems like I misread the suggestion. Having some ingame tag for this does not make sense either though. Any member or online staff can answer questions, there's really no need for some special role.

Yeah, but as OrJoBa said, most of the members are getting ignored both from staff members and the daily pika player.

Which is some cases is true. Staff members are actually doing a great job. They are helping the server grow with members as well as grow the server performance too, but they don't have the time to help a member that needs help in game, because they are distracted on handling punishment appeals and stuff like that.
