Staff Reports​

Detailed description:

So recently I've notice some bad stuff with staff members for example "staff member ignores players"​

"staff member falsely bans/mutes player" and "staff member not answering on discord/ingame after quite a bit of time"​

Since this is really huge and important issue you should be able to report staff members with a solid proof on forums that's why we need "Staff Reports" Section on forums ​

Staff member after -5r should get demoted to lower rank or if they are trial rank they should get kicked out of staff team​

personally I think staff paying not attention is a huge problem for this server.​

Staff are not bots, they also have in real life things to do. That's why sometimes they are not responding.

Also they're managing many things at the same times.

Maybe they're ignoring you because your reporting it directly to them and not through forums report section.

I'm not reporting anything and i know they aren't bots, but when they are standing in front of you and still ignoring me playing sw/bw games continuously that makes me mad, They aren't even paying attention or looking at what I have to say

I do agree that sometimes the staff team ignores players, but from my experience, it’s because the players often type “HACKER” in all caps without giving any context clues, proof or even a username.

there needs to be a sufficient system for reports that allows players to immediately inform staff that there’s a cheater or that there’s some form of rule breaking going on. it is messy and unorganized right now, which is why I usually resort to dming helpers on discord with either the username of the cheater if they’re still online or a video I recorded proving that they’re cheating.

At the end of the day, the community needs to help the staff team do their job. I don’t think it helps to put helpers and moderators on a pedestal and a higher standard. they are just players that volunteered to help out the server. the administrators should think about these things and think of new ways to implement systems that support the staff team.

I do not agree with a reputation system because it can be heavily abused. If a player just doesn’t like a helper for no particular reason, they’ll just get the worst rating for doing nothing wrong. however, if you want to hold a staff member accountable, you should find proof of their mishaps and report it to an administrator. or alternatively, you can think of a new way the reporting system should be structured and make a new suggestion thread.

I'm neutral. Yes, making a big mistake as staff is bad, however, the demotion system shouldn't be based on how many bad reports you got. Since staff have gone out of their way to apply, be very active, and attempt to help people, their should be some sort of investigation. If it turns out to be true, it could be some sort of strike. If it is false, the player might get perm banned for falsifying evidence. Additionally, staff members have 10 of them online and 1100 other players. They are not ignoring you, they simply cannot respond to 50 people at once.

From being staff I know the pressures we are under . It's not the players duty to discipline the staff rather the other way round . If you have proof of staff ABUSING then report them to an admin + but sometimes staff can make an INNOCENT MISTAKE. I'm sure from my 100s of bans , maybe 1 of the people wasnt hacking but we are human not bots we cant be 100% right and if staff are demoted for a little mistake it's not really fair . If you believe you are falsely banned talk to the staff member about it , make a ban appeal and if you believe staff are abusing then report to an admin. Simple.

-1. Everyone makes mistakes... staff included. They shouldn’t be demoted for an innocent mistake. Also, staff have a lot on their plate. If they don’t respond to you, they are probably helping another player with something or just trying to play the game.

Some points.
- People complain about ignoring even if staff are in vanish or ignore overal, however staff have multiple platforms to monitor (forums/discord/ingame) + play the game in a proper way to keep it enjoyable for themselves/their team. Also do they have real life to tend to.
- Everyone makes mistakes even admins, punishing for small and innocent mistakes will just lead to more stress for the staff team. Only if the mistakes aren't innocent, actions should be taken but there is a manager for that which you can freely contant through discord/forums with some evidence.
We as a community should understand and respect these points, if staffmembers don't respond you are free to report players yourself/contact them through discord/forums so you will be certain of an answer.
