Remove /coinflip ( /cf ) from Survival
Detailed description:
remove the /coinflip ( /cf ) command from Survival.
Survival is a grind-based gamemode. We put hours into farms, mining, and trading to earn our money, and that effort is what makes this gamemode funny. /coinflip lets players skip all of that:
Effort loses value. Hours of farming can be gone in one flip, and someone else can get the same amount with no work.
The economy gets distorted.
Large amounts of money move around by luck alone, which pushes prices up and makes farms less worthwhile.
It doesn't fit the mode. Gambling suits a minigame or such a gamemodes as OpLifeSteal, OpFaction, KitPvP, OpSkyBlock and SkyMines. better than a survival gamemode built on progression.
The Proposed solution:
Remove /coinflip ( /cf ) from Survival entirely.
/coinflip creates money printing with no resource cost. Farms require materials, time, and effort—gambling requires nothing but luck
Wealth concentration. Big gamblers win massive amounts, then set prices impossibly high for regular players.
Deflation/inflation cycle. Money floods in from nowhere when someone wins big, then disappears when they lose, making the economy unstable.
Farms become worthless. Why spend a month building a sugarcane farm if someone can make that money in one flip? you may ask " then how did he gets that money to cf? " prolly bought for gold or getting loaned by his friends.
Survival is supposed to be about progression. /coinflip removes progression entirely—it's instant gratification vs grinding.
Reason(s):
/coinflip destroys the entire point of Survival.
Survival's design is simple: you grind, you progress, you earn, you build. That loop is what makes it fun. /coinflip breaks that loop by letting players skip the grind entirely and get the reward for free through luck.
When grinding and gambling both give money, grinding loses every time because gambling is instant. So players stop farming, stop building, stop surviving—they just gamble. The gamemode becomes a coinflip minigame wearing a Survival skin.
Example(s):
For Example:
Lets say there's 3 Players
Player A
Player B
Player C
The Player A spends 2 weeks building a sugarcane farm, earns 50k
The Player B flips a coin once, wins 50k instantly
Now sugarcane is worth less because money is easier to get without farming
Player A's 2 weeks of work = Player B's 5 seconds of gambling
Price inflation from coinflip wins
Someone wins 500k from a coinflip
They buy out all the best farm land at inflated prices
Regular farmers can't afford land anymore
Prices stay high because there's now "free money" in the economy
Player C wins 1M, crashes the economy with inflation
Player C loses 1M the next day, crashes it again with deflation. And just leaving the game, he just joined to coinflip but because of losing he leaves the server.
Farms worth 100k yesterday are worth 50k today because the economy is unstable.
