Prevent Trap Effect Stacking
Detailed description:
- Add a 10–15 second cooldown between Show Me Your Hands and Escape Room effects on the same player.
- After a player is affected by one of these traps, the other trap should not apply its effect until the cooldown has ended.
- The cooldown should apply regardless of which trap is triggered first.
- The traps themselves should remain usable; only their effects on the same player should be subject to the cooldown.
Reason(s):
- Currently, Show Me Your Hands and Escape Room can be triggered together, applying Blindness, Slowness, and Mining Fatigue to the same player in quick succession.
- Combining these effects can make breaking a bed extremely difficult or effectively impossible.
- It can completely destroy the momentum of a successful bed push, especially when the player has already reached the bed.
- A 10–15 second cooldown would still allow both traps to be useful without allowing them to be chained together for an extremely strong defensive combination.
- This would make the interaction more balanced while keeping the individual traps unchanged.
Example(s):
- A player triggers Show Me Your Hands and receives Blindness and Slowness. If they trigger Escape Room immediately afterwards, Mining Fatigue would not be applied.
- Once 10–15 seconds have passed, another trap effect can affect the player normally.
