Pika staff should Respect Screensharing

Hey SweatyBlaze here, And dw im not banned by screensharing Lawl.


Firstly lets know what screensharing means, Basically Players who are "Suspicious" Or who seemed to be cheating give access of their pc to a stranger (staff member) by apps like anydesk, And they get full access of your PC. Your pics and private things all of them. Just to check if you are legit or not.

Q. So why they should be respectful? and what do u mean by that?
--> They should fully explore the player whos about to be screenshared. Atleast they should spectate him for like 2 games and decide if they should Screenshare him or not, Or lets say if hes worthy of getting screenshared or not. If they seemed legit they should not cuz it is risky for them. Its so hard for us to give access to another guy. And mostly Titans or famous people get this without any reason.. I dont get it.

(example of ppl) - Hassan (my friend just got banned) and dude on got he's legit i can confirm.. i have fought him many times.. there is noway he does cheats (atleast i dont think so)

(there can be points where staff-members can ss people from one game) - Today me and my friends were playing pgs and we invited a guy from the lobby (i wont name him as it can create wrong impression over him) . At the start I legit was combo-ing him and yeah I beat him more than 4 times but after a while. I dont remember what he exactly said but he said something like this : I fixed my internet now and now see my hitreg. And then I did'nt win one time. (I still won the pgs by fireballing him HEHEH XD, LETS BE SERIOUS!) and yeah he did got screenshared afterwards and got banned for refusing.

Tbh I cant be sure if he did cheat there or not even that wasn't a "Point" to screenshare because its just one game but Okay his hit did became "sus" so yeah Overall there can be points where you can screenshare without spectating them for long but Staff should really try their best to atleast spectate people for atleast 2 games to check if they are worthy for a "screenshare" or not.

(Staff members are busy but they should try to..) - Staff do have alot of job as their are so many cheaters/abuser ingame (EVEN ME I GOT BANNED TODAY XD becuz of "Staff Impersonation" but it's okay it was my fault)
No hate to the staff member.. but as Staffs are increasing day by day this should be an thing to look at..
PLS staff members listen to this. ; D its fine either way but we do have alot of private things in our PC and we can't Always give access to our PC. And you guys should consider this..

(Respecting the people who get screenshared) - A guy in PRBW (Pika ranked bedwars) did said this yesterday, that if you deny the screenshare that means you are cheating (DW IT WASNT ME WHO WAS GETTING SSED) but no jokes, Is that how staff member or people see the people who deny the screenshare? like What breh.. xd so yeah its fine tho but atleast try to : D

-about hassan, if hes hassan wafdy then i 100% think belive he is legit, if annother hassan then idk
-and for the "better ssing system" no they arent accepting it
-also it's someone's choice to belive that you are cheating or not when refusing an ss: as an example i got ssed and had to go so i refused, most known players are supporting me but for the haters its their choice. but no hate to anyone the person who ssed me is a cool guy

Staff members will not go through personal or private pictures and folders of the player being screenshared.

I understand what you mean, there's nothing to worry about. It's safe and risk-free. We only check for Illegal modifications nothing else.

As a former staff member who has performed screenshares, I would like to offer a few points in response.

First, regarding the observation period: I believe most staff members actually spectate for longer than you might think. Gathering sufficient context about a player's suspicious behavior is a key part of our process. In many cases, the evidence collected through spectating could be enough for a punishment on its own. However, our goal is always to have 100% confirmation, which is why we proceed to a screenshare.

On the topic of assuming guilt for refusing a screenshare, let me pose a question: If you were caught by law enforcement in real life and a button appeared that would guarantee you couldn't be charged or punished for the violation, would you press it? I think that scenario answers the question of why a refusal is viewed as an act of guilt in this context.

Finally, I do agree with you on privacy concerns. It's 2026, and relying on the same methods from a decade ago may not be the smartest idea. However, during a screenshare, staff members focus strictly on methods for detecting cheats. They honestly have no interest in your personal files, photos, or private information (unless, of course, if you have made your feet pic as your wallpaper). It is more of a targeted approach, not a blind search through your entire system.

if the person is a good staff member then you are right yes, but i as a person would accept the ss and for example record with phone. if nothing happens ill delete. and btw a non topic thing, is there any other programs than wine (for launching .exe windows files) i need for the ss thing if the OS i use is Arch Linux?

Staff members respect your privacy and will only go through Minecraft related content or anything that could be an illegal modification. They don't have any other reason to screenshare you.
