Get ready for an exciting new season, as we're thrilled to announce that a fresh reset is just around the corner, and we're proud to say that we've made some major changes to enhance your gameplay experience.
We have been working hard at work to rebalance existing features and revamp some of the features we currently offer.
We believe that these changes will enhance your gaming experience and make it more enjoyable than ever before.
For this update, we will be removing some older features and improving the existing ones, in order to ensure a good future for the OpSkyBlock gamemode.
Below you can find most of the changes we have made and what has been added, I’m sure I forgot to mention it all but I’m sure giving it a good read over you will be familiar with most you're going to see. If there is however still something you want to change, feel free to mention it on this thread before its release, we can still consider making the change.

End of the world
To celebrate the end of the season, we will be hosting an end-of-season event. At around 3 days before the release, we will be placing reset signs at spawn which you can click and claim a number of rewards; Free items, Free gkits, Millions of in-game money, Tons of free experience to level up your overpowered armor. Everyone will be able to finish their rank-ups because you can get everything for free. You can fight with everyone without the fear of losing your gear you have weeks to gather. So clearly this is the event everyone should participate in! Hop on OpSkyBlock and have fun!

The following are the most important features/modifications implemented towards this season's map and features.
Payouts! Island Top Rewards
In this new season of OpSkyBlock, we will have bi-weekly rewards for the top islands!
This will continue until the end of the season which will last exactly 6 weeks or 42 days and end with the final payout.

First place: €500 worth of Iron currency.

Updated! Runes
In this season, we will make minor adjustments to the Runes to ensure their overall balance.
Our aim is to reposition certain Runes across tiers.
These changes are very minor but we feel like it will make a good difference for OpSkyBlock as a whole.

Voodoo - Decreased to max level 3
Endurance - Decreased to max level 3
Updated! Spawner Upgrades
We've made some changes to the Spawner Upgrades to maintain a healthy economy and ensure a level playing field for all players.
To accomplish this, we've modified the prices of the upgrades, decreased the maximum level cap, and reduced the maximum multiplier.
These adjustments will help balance the value of Spawner Upgrades in the in-game economy, making them accessible to all players without creating an unfair advantage for those with greater resources.
The new spawner upgrades are as followed:
Upgrade Level I 500 Heads - Exp drops x1.25 | Upgrade Level II 1,000 Heads - Mob drops x1.25 | Upgrade Level III 2,200 Heads - Spawn amount x1.25 | Upgrade Level IV 3,300 Heads - Exp drops x1.5 | Upgrade Level V 4,400 Heads - Mob drops x1.5 |

Players with a SkyMaster rank will now also be able to purchase any available upgrade within a spawner with the click of one button, rather than having to manually upgrade each tier. With this change we hope to make the SkyMaster rank match its value we intended it to have.
Updated! Leaderboards
We've added more leaderboards to our server, and we now have daily leaderboards too!
Leaderboards track different aspects of gameplay, including player stats and more. With these leaderboards, you can see how you stack up against other players in various categories, and track your progress over time.
We're also excited to introduce our new daily leaderboards. These leaderboards refresh every day and track the top players in various categories for that day.
This means that players have a chance to see their names on the leaderboard every day and compete for daily rewards.
We believe that these new leaderboards will add a new level of competition to our server and give players even more reasons to play and improve their skills. It's also a great way to track your progress and see how you're improving over time.
Updated! Mob Mastery
Another needed update is an update to Mob Masteries that will add more value to your gameplay experience!
We have worked hard to make significant changes to the masteries, making them more rewarding and beneficial for players.
As part of this update, we've removed one of the masteries completely to streamline the system and make it easier for players to upgrade the remaining two. This change means that players can now focus their efforts on upgrading the two remaining Mob Masteries, which have been revamped to offer greater rewards and benefits than ever before.
Decreased mob kills needed
The amount of mobs needed to be killed to earn a mastery point has been reduced to 2,000 instead of 3,000. Making it a bit easier to earn these mastery points for everyone.
Removed Mob Strife Mastery
We feel like Mob Strife currently in its state has no extra value to offer for players to be upgraded, so in order not to make people waste their precious mastery points on something that isn't helping at all we have decided to remove this mastery for now.
Level and price changes
We also have changed the prices for the other 2 masteries and ensured that they are worth your price. The maximum levels have also been reduced to 4 instead of 5.

Updated! Sell Multiplier
We have made a minor but impactful update to the sell multiplier cap for Sellwands and Sellchest signs! After careful consideration and listening to our players' feedback, we've increased the cap to x4, matching the gamemode.
This change means that players can now enjoy the maximum benefits of the game's economy without feeling restricted by the previous cap.
The improved sell multiplier cap of x4 will make selling items more lucrative than ever before, allowing you to earn greater profits from your sales. Take advantage of this update and watch your wealth grow!
Removed! Mob Suits
We'd like to inform everyone about the removal of Mob Suits from the game.
While we understand that many players enjoyed these items, we've made the decision to remove them as they added too many different things to the game, which could create an imbalance in gameplay.
Removing Mob Suits will allow all players to grind on an equal playing field, without any one item providing an unfair advantage. This change ensures that everyone has a fair chance to progress in the game through hard work and dedication. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we're confident that this update will make for a better and more balanced gameplay experience overall.
Fixed! Bugs
We did our best to polish and fix as many existing bugs inside the OpSkyBlock server. We have looked through all the bug reports and managed to fix them. If you come across any bugs with the new release, make sure to report them at our forums under the bug reports section.
Here are a few of the bugs we squished out:
- Fixed outpost rewards not being given.
- Fixed water melons not sellable in /shop.
- Fixed frenzy crop hoe not working on water melons.
- Fixed nerd and error tag saying it is buyable on the store.
- Fixed typo in special sets.
- Fixed typo in Knowledge enchantment
- Fixed level skip token not working on some tasks.
- Fixed titan tag not given the actual tag.
- Fixed help menu saying Custom Crop as Auction House.
- Fixed Sandy Subterrane trader having stone as a trade option.
- Fixed [sellchest] bypassing sell limit.
- Fixed masks working on anything that isn't a helmet.
- Fixed nutrition enchantment not working.
- Fixed /profile placeholders.
- Fixed /profile not showing skin.
- Fixed boss showing wrong spawned mine.
- Fixed not being able to break playershops.
- Fixed some chat scramble words having an icon at the end.
- Fixed /warp mine regions being wrong.
- Fixed island shrinking down after reboot.
- Fixed bosses being able to attack players at spawn.
- Fixed blocktracker not working on special ores in Mines World.
- Fixed some custom crops not displaying properly.
Misc. Updates and changes.
After receiving some suggestions about modifying a couple of things, we have decided to make the following modifications in order to make everyone's OpSkyBlock experience much better. We have modified a few features which were present on the previous map, and here is the list including those modifications, along with a justification for the majority:
- Updated all plugins.
- Updated /payouts menu.
- Added a title popup for events and chat events.
- Added a setting to disable new popups.
- Added pages to settings menu.
- Removed spawners that aren't on /is top.
- Removed island missions from spawners that aren't on /is top.
- Made playtime reward message smaller.
- Added commands to access island chats faster.
- Added /leveltask.
- Added /giftblock.
- Added new seasonal tags.
- Made enchanted heads give 10 instead of 25 heads.

Question and Answers
Why does OpSkyBlock reset?
OpSkyBlock is already up for some time. A reset has to happen to change and improve with new features, to make the game more exciting for you all! This then allows you players to have a fresh start and new players can begin to play without any significant disadvantage.
This means all items, money, and the map will be reset. Nothing will be kept leftover from the previous map. I know this must be a disappointing revelation for a lot of you, but think about the exciting new changes, the new alliances you can forge, the new map, the new features and updates the different kinds of gameplay, and style is provided with this update will surely make it a worth-while and exciting reset!
