The season has drawn to a close, and it's time for a fresh start with a new OpFactions reset. This marks the beginning of another season of intense faction competition, where top factions will battle it out for supremacy.
For this reset, our team has focused on improving the game's overall stability and gameplay experience. We've worked tirelessly to identify and fix bugs, as well as fine-tune existing features to ensure a smoother and more enjoyable experience for all players.
While we are always excited to bring new and innovative content to our game, we recognize the importance of prioritizing core gameplay stability and balance. We hope that the changes we've made will make your experience even better, and we look forward to seeing you in the battle for faction dominance!

End of the world
We will be hosting an end-of-season event to celebrate the end of the season. At around 3 days before the release, we will be placing reset signs at spawn which you can click and claim a number of rewards; Free items, Free gkits, Millions of in-game money, and Tons of free experience to level up your overpowered armor. Everyone will be able to finish their rank-ups because you can get everything for free. You can fight with everyone without the fear of losing your gear you have weeks to gather. So clearly this is the event everyone should participate in! Hop on OpFactions and have fun!

Payouts! Faction Top Rewards
This new season of OpFactions we will have bi-weekly rewards for the top factions! This will go on until the end of the season which will last exactly 5 weeks or 35 days and end with the final payout. View all the dates in the /payouts menu.
(!) The season will end 1 day later, on a Saturday, to give everyone a full last day to participate.
End-of-the-season rewards
First place: $350 USD PayPal and €500 worth of Iron currency.

Introducing the Dark Zone sword - a powerful new addition to our arsenal of weapons. Just like the Essence Harvester Hoe, this sword can be upgraded using essence, a valuable resource that can be obtained by slaying endermites in the Dark Zone.

We have re-imagined the pet and their levels, making the lowest level, Level 1, and the highest level Level 4.
Each time your pet is used it will gain 50 experience points to level up.

Updated! Infinite Chest
We've updated the system to include a new and improved feature that will make managing your items even easier.
Each chest now comes equipped with its own hologram display, allowing you to quickly see how many items are stored and how much money they are worth.
This update is particularly beneficial for players with large amounts of Infinite Chests, as it provides a more efficient way to manage and keep track of them at a glance. With the hologram display, you can easily identify which chests contain the valuables and quickly access them when needed.
Updated! Masks
We're excited to announce a major update to our mask system that will enhance your gameplay experience even further.
We recognize the importance of masks in PvP battles, and we've made them even better with a new feature.
As a player, you'll now be able to see which masks your opponents are wearing in real time. Instead of their helmet, you'll see the skull of their mask displayed on their character, providing a clear indication of their chosen mask.
This update is purely for display purposes and is only visible to your opponents. It adds an extra layer of strategy to battles, allowing players to assess their opponents' mask choices and adjust their tactics accordingly.
Updated! Nearby Enemies
We've made some significant changes to the checks for nearby enemies in the game. These updates are designed to provide a more balanced and enjoyable gameplay experience for all players.
Specifically, we've made the following changes:
The check for nearby enemies to disable printer has been made smaller. This means that players will now be able to use their printers more freely without worrying about being detected by nearby enemies.
The check for nearby enemies to use gen buckets has also been made smaller. This will allow players to use gen buckets with greater ease and efficiency, without having to worry about nearby enemies interrupting the process.
On the other hand, we've made the check for nearby enemies to fly bigger. This will provide a greater challenge for players who attempt to fly while under the watchful eye of their opponents.
These changes were made with the goal of providing a fair and balanced gameplay experience for all players. We believe that they will enhance the overall quality of the game and provide a more enjoyable experience for everyone.
Fixed! Bugs
We did our best to polish and fix many existing bugs inside the OpFactions server. We have looked through all the bug reports and managed to fix them. If you come across any bugs with the new release, make sure to report them at our forums under the bug reports section.
Here are a few of the bugs we squished out:
- Fixed the banknote and balance limit being too low for OpFactions.
- Fixed Unique key giving legend kit instead of god.
- Fixed Unique key not giving Mystery Key Box.
- Fixed some KOTH starters not doing anything.
- Fixed Essence Harvester Hoe not having correct display.
- Fixed not being able to obtain Essence Harvester Hoe easily.
Misc. Updates and changes.
After receiving some suggestions about modifying a couple of things, we have decided to make the following modifications in order to make everyone's Factions experience much better. We have modified a few features which were present on the previous map, and here is the list including those modifications, along with a justification for the majority:
- Updated AntiCheat.
- Updated warps GUI.
- Added all logs, planks, stairs and slabs to printer.
- Make spawners unburnable in lava.
- Show /f bank on /f who.
- Made pets cooldown work across all pets, not just one.
- Updated KOTHs GUI.
- Updated supply drops.
- Added a Knockback+ kit.
- Made gold sets gold armor.
- Made silver sets iron armor.
- Removed stock option from Auction House.
- Made the faction size 10 from SOTW.
- Increased sell price of dark zone drops.
- Added more items to mob coins shop.

Question and AnswersWhy does OpFactions reset?
OpFactions is already up for some time. A reset has to happen to change and improve with new features, to make the game more exciting for you all! This then allows players to have a fresh start and new players can begin to play without any significant disadvantage.
This means all items, money, and the map will be reset. Nothing will be kept leftover from the previous map. I know this must be a disappointing revelation for a lot of you, but think about the exciting new changes, the new alliances you can forge, the new map, the new features and updates the different kinds of gameplay, and the style provided with this update will surely make it a worth-while and exciting reset!
