So, as you guys may know, I sadly got banned on Jan 9 2025, reason? Unplugging my wireless usb mouse while screensharing, let me fill you guys in.
For those who don't know me, I joined pika last year, and fell in love with the pika SkyBlock community, and I know most people there know me, I got my reputation there, I'm known as a trustworthy player, non-toxic, reporting rule breakers, and definitely not cheating in any ways. I lead an island on skyblock (XGonGiveItToYa), which got /is top 4 last season, all F2P, so grinding my ahh off for whole season, having fun, making friends along the way, currently co-leading /is top No1 this ssn.
Anyways, I got into reporting and knowing more about the server rules after my first ever ban, banned for having an inactive autoclicker on my laptop, thanks to Ehtne, I had a look at server rules to ensure nothing like that happens again. Then started reporting people breaking these rules, as I saw that staff wasn't that active on SkyBlock. More reports go in, and I get motivated to apply for staff by my pals from skyblock, so I indeed did, and almost got accepted, as right before being accepted, I had to go through a Screensharing process, which I of course didn't mind because I never had any illegal mods on my laptop, Levaniii told me not to use my mouse during SS, but the problem was, my wireless mouse had low batteries, and it sometimes moved the cursor by itself, so I honestly unplugged it to insure no disturbance while SS, so after having my laptop scanned for almost 30 minutes, I msg Levaniii: all clear right?, Levaniii responds (and I quote): You will be banned for attempting to bypass, have a nice day.
Can you imagine that? Like what would make me attempt to bypass? Why would I apply for staff if I had some hack on? And most importantly: why do I get treated and punished the same way as a real cheater /hacker (90 day ban) When there is no evidence of me having a hack / illegal mods on?, I did appeal but it got denied, claiming it's a "rule". The rule in question is readable from : Rules--->ScreenShare--->Bypassing->then clicking on the rules itself shows 7 sub topics on bypassing.
All I'm asking for, is your guys' opinion on this ban, do you think I really deserve it? Judging by the times I helped y'all and had fun doing giveaways and making minigames trying to revive skyblock. Waiting for your reply.
