Hello,

Macros (in-game) are disallowed modifications used to do something automatically for you (click multiple times on a single click, automatically send a message/command in the chat after you press a keybind, etc). Using these macros is not allowed and will get the players using them banned.

Post macros (on the forums) are just like predefined messages: they can be used to automatically deliver a message upon a click, with many configurable options like auto-submit. Using post macros is allowed and can be useful in many situations. To use a post macro, you first need to create it (Profile > Post macros > Active macros > Create macro). After doing so, you can insert it into your message by using the Insert Macro option.

Minecraft macros mean that if you press a specific key, here - X, then you will automatically send a sentence in chat, for example - /spawn which will directly tp you to spawn. You can edit the keybind and the sentence anytime.
