Is Nether Disabled?

The portals to the nether don't seem to give me the nausea effect and don't tp me to the nether portal. Is the nether disabled?

Nether works fine with me, are you sure it's not lag? I used to have this problem on my PS3 when playing minecraft(it would only happen sometimes, but it would happen when my network would throttle.)

just to make sure ... you're talking about nether portals in the survival server right?
