Today we’re sitting down with someone who plays a dual role in the server — both a Moderator and an Event Manager. We’ll be focusing on their journey, their leadership, and how they manage both responsibility and creativity at the same time.

1. Tell us about your experience when you first joined pika network?

Ans- I joined Pika-Network in 2021. Before the pandemic, I played on Jartex, but by the end of 2021 it wasn’t as enjoyable, so I switched over. Starting survival here was a lot of fun, and the friendly, supportive community is the main reason I’ve stuck around. That first month on Pika was the most exciting of all.

2. Is it difficult to handle both events and moderating at the same time?
Ans- It’s not very difficult, though sometimes I have to compromise on my staff duties for events. Thankfully, thanks to the higher-ups, it’s never been a big issue. Events are something I truly enjoy, but I also love helping out. In fact, I receive a lot of friend requests while working on the event server, and I try to accept most of them and offer help- not to mention the people asking for titan rank. From my perspective, being a QA with staff duties isn’t really challenging.

3. What is more difficult when it comes to managing events?

Ans- Scheduling was a big challenge, with many people from different time zones unable to attend playtests. But I have to say, my current QAs are amazing- they always show up for the playtest, even when the timing isn’t ideal, and I’m truly grateful for that.

4. What gamemodes do you like playing the most?

Ans- As I mentioned earlier, Survival is a pretty chill game mode, and I really enjoy spending my time there. Besides Survival, I also play OpSkyblock as part of Team Sky block, and the Skyblock community is very supportive of newcomers. Although I spend about 80% of my time on the event server 😂..

5. What are your future aspirations for pika as a whole and also staff team?
Ans- I really appreciate PikaNetwork as it is right now and hope it keeps the strong foundation it has built. Even though there are complaints, I personally enjoy the community and the environment. I understand that change is inevitable, but I hope any future updates are well-planned and positively received by the players. As for the staff team, I’m confident they will continue to do well under Arrly and the admins.

6. What’s been your favorite event so far?
Ans- If I had to choose one event, it would probably be Hallow End. It was a great event with a well-designed map and an engaging story. If I had to choose based on emotions, it would be the dropper event hosted by me and jinanplayz. It was the first event where I truly contributed something meaningful.

7. Behind the scenes, what do players not realize about how much effort goes into planning events as many call it boring?
Ans- I genuinely respect their opinion. We always try to put in 100% effort from our side, but if an event feels boring to someone, that is completely fine and we respect that. However, we do expect a detailed feedback, as that is how we can improve.

Being a Moderator ensures stability.
Being an Event Manager brings excitement.

Doing both? That takes real commitment.

We appreciate everything you do for the community.
💙✨
