Welcome everyone! Today, we’re excited to talk with a Pika Network manager about their journey, experiences, and insights behind the scenes. This interview gives us a closer look at the people who help keep the server running and the community thriving. Let’s get started!

1. What does a normal day look like for you as a Pika Network manager?
Ans- No day is the same, but every day has some similar elements: daily life activities (e.g., studying/assignments for university), replying to messages from staff members, sometimes forums work (e.g., support tickets) and more. I'd say most of my working hours are spent communicating with staff and ensuring everything is functioning smoothly.

2. What has been the most challenging part of this role?
Ans- Sometimes it can be a lot of work (e.g., when there are many complicated password reset requests that require my attention). When my daily responsibilities (such as university) collide with times when there's a lot to do for Pika, life can get a bit busy.

3. How do you coordinate between admins, senior staff, and moderators?
Ans- I answer any questions that need to be answered, resolve conflicts (when there are any) based on what I think is the best for the server and assign responsibilities to ensure the work is distributed well. The Admins help me a lot in managing the staff team too.

4. How do you ensure consistency in decisions across the staff team?
Ans- I manage the staff team. Every rank and sub role in the staff team has a purpose and they carry out their purpose as well as they can. I provide my opinions and resolve conflicts when needed, but apart from that, most day-to-day decisions (such as whether someone broke the rules or not) are made by staff, not me. It would be too much work for one person to make every decision every day.

5. How do you balance community feedback with internal policies?
Ans- Our policies are there to serve the community. If community feedback indicates something should be changed, I take that into account. This doesn't mean the feedback will always be implemented, but it will be reviewed.

6. What steps do you take to prevent staff burnout?
Ans- I give staff the opportunity to go [AWAY] when needed (as long as they don't do it too often). This means they can take a temporary break from PikaNetwork, giving them time to replenish their energy and motivation.

7. How do you maintain trust between management and players?
Ans- I do my best to make unbiased decisions that are the best for the server.

8. Who has been your best friend in all these years?
Ans- I made many friends here, so it would be unfair to point one out as 'the best', as others may then feel sad. I value all of my friends!

9. Your first experience on the server as you must be here from a long time?
Ans- TTHM and I were looking for cracked Minecraft servers with Bedwars and we found PikaNetwork. This was over half a decade ago - in July of 2020!

10. Do your think your role in the staff team means gets you unwanted attraction/pings from people in pika community for fun??
Ans- Somewhat, but I don't consider it a big issue..

11. What’s been your favorite moment working on Pika Network so far?
Ans- Maybe creating Team Events. I was an Event Manager for almost 3 years, so making a brand new, unified team (when previously, events were only hosted by staff) and hosting custom events with it was a big step forward.

12. If you weren’t a manager, what role on the server do you think you’d enjoy?
Ans- I'd probably be an Admin, an Event Manager and a Media Manager, just like before I was promoted to Manager.

We don't share info about a new game mode soon or any new management changes in advance; anything that needs to be known is announced (when a new game mode is about to be released, the developers usually announce it)----> for those who had doubts regarding this issue....

As we wrap up this interview, it’s clear that Pika Network is more than just a server—it’s a community built on dedication, teamwork, and passion. Behind every rule, update, and decision are people who genuinely care about the players and the future of the server. Leadership isn’t just about authority, but about responsibility, patience, and vision. We hope this interview inspires others to contribute positively, support one another, and remember that every great community grows because of the people who believe in it. Thank you for reading, and thank you to the team that continues to make Pika Network a place players can call home and maybe a place to hangout and stuff. Hope You enjoyed this interview...

With Regards,
TheRealObito....

Hmmm not bad but maybe next time ask staff member questions that are more useful to the community, not something that personal or out of sight from the community.
