Suggestion:
/hub-ing and /warp-ing in bedwars

Detailed description:
If you use the /hub command or have a friend /warp you out of a BedWars game while your bed is still intact, you will not lose your winstreak or receive a final death. This means that as long as your bed remains unbroken, leaving the game in this manner prevents any penalties to your stats, allowing you to maintain your winstreak and avoid registering a final kill against you. Only showing up on your stats as a "game played"

I suggest completely removing this feature, ensuring that any method of leaving a game affects a player's stats. This would prevent players from avoiding losses unfairly.

Reason(s):
I want to see this feature removed to maintain the competitive integrity of BedWars and prevent players from using it as a safety net whenever they lose their first rush. Right now, this mechanic—originally intended to assist players with poor internet connections (or something like that)—is being heavily abused as an unfair way to protect stats.

While I acknowledge that there is a punishment in place for excessive hubbing, it is far too lenient, only affecting players after 200–300 instances of abuse. This allows the vast majority of exploiters to continue benefiting from an unintended mechanic with little to no consequences. By ensuring that leaving games always impacts a player's stats, the system would become much fairer, rewarding skill and strategy over exploitation.

Example(s):
My proposed solution is to completely remove this feature and implement a system similar to H BedWars, where stats are locked in and leaving does not provide any advantage.

A clear example of this issue can be seen by looking at the current #1 BedWars player in wins on the Pika Network leaderboard. According to the official website, their total wins and final deaths combined amount to 16,202, yet their total games played is listed as 17,785. This means that over 1,500 games have been dodged throughout their BedWars career.

It is highly unrealistic to attribute such a large number to crashes or other legitimate disconnections. Instead, this highlights a widespread problem where top players exploit this mechanic to avoid losses without consequence. What's even more concerning is that this is happening at the very top of the leaderboard, proving that the issue remains unchecked. This is a glaring flaw in the system that I, and hopefully many other players, want to see addressed as soon as possible.

If I were a developer of Pika Network, I would implement the following two-layered solution to prevent abuse while still considering legitimate disconnections due to internet issues.

1️⃣ Immediate Stat Lock on Game Start

  • Lock player stats (such as final deaths, losses, and winstreaks) as soon as the game begins.
  • Leaving in any way (hub, disconnect, warp) will result in a loss and count as a final death, even if the bed is still intact.
  • This ensures that players cannot manipulate their stats by leaving early.
Example:
If a player uses /hub while still alive, the system will treat it as a loss + final death, just as if they had been eliminated.

2️⃣ Matchmaking & Stat Protection for Legitimate Disconnects

To differentiate between abusers and genuine disconnections, a rejoin system could be introduced:

  • If a player disconnects due to an internet issue, they should have 90 seconds to rejoin the game and avoid a penalty.
  • If they fail to return, the system counts it as a loss and final death.
  • This ensures real internet issues are not unfairly punished, while intentional dodging is not rewarded.
Example:
A player loses connection but rejoins in 30 seconds—they can continue playing without penalty.
If they fail to return, the system auto-eliminates them and registers a loss.

Great addition, I think this would be a good system to have in place

I mean, this feature is kind of good as well if not misused. Once, a flying hacker was in-game, and as soon as the game started, I had a head-lighting strike and saw that a player had broken the bed. I was on a winstreak, so I rubbed.

While I understand your point, this is a rather niche scenario. In most games, players won’t encounter cheaters or exploiters. The reality is that many players take advantage of this feature primarily to boost their own stats.

Agreed, i believe this "feature" should be removed. More of a bug than a feature.
