Reason(s):
Wouldn't it make sense for a fireball to light it's surrounding blocks on fire? Cause it's literally a ball of fire.
Example:
You throw the fireball on a wool block; Instead of the wool block just disappearing with an explosion sound, it would blow up and cause fire underneath where that block was.

Fireball causes fire
Detailed description:
Fireballs can be pretty over powered sometimes, and using them continuously should have it's own consequences by lighting the surrounding blocks on fire, and getting players a little more careful if they're gonna use one.
