Few Improvements In WildKits
Detailed description:
Since the lovely gamemode WildKits has been taken in as a permanent gamemode from now on, I am suggesting some essential changes that could genuinely add colour to the already fun gamemode and encourage players to play it.
- Anvil Combiner: Allow players to merge sword enchantments without restrictions.
- Competitive Payouts: Implement bi-weekly Pika Iron payouts for top Elo earners and end-of-season Pika Gold payouts usable network-wide based on overall prestige gain throughout the season.
- Pickaxe Enchanting: Update the enchanting GUI to include Efficiency alongside Unbreaking.
- Spawn Utility Shop: Add core items like cobwebs and water buckets directly into the main spawn shop.
- Curated Gkits: Introduce structured /gkits offering +8% -8% Protection 5 netherite combat sets, weapons capped at Sharpness 6, and tiered consumable heads ranging from golden up to ruby. Sets from seasonal keys can be made Protection 6 to balance this out. Boosters GKits with Souls Boosters, Money Boosters, EXP Boosters, ELO Boosters, etc.
- Prestige Reward Rebalancing: Revamp late-game milestones like Prismarine, Beacon, and Bedrock so rewards scale with the massive grind.
- Cosmetics:
- Cosmetics like kill messages, kill animations, chat colours could be rank-specific perks, while players can unlock high-tier cosmetics by unlocking higher ranks.
- Seasonal Key Claiming for Pika Star and Pika Heart: Players with Pika tier 2 and 3 who main the gamemode should be able to claim their monthly keys on the gamemode, as promised by PikaNetwork that players who are subscribed can claim keys on their desired gamemode, if the crates are still there.
Reason(s):
- Anvil Combiner: Blocking custom enchantment mixes defeats the entire purpose of having an anvil mechanic, locking players out of endgame progression and making weapon progression feel rigid and unrewarding.
- Competitive Payouts: A permanent game mode quickly stagnates without a healthy competitive loop; rewarding active grinders with dedicated mode currency and network-wide payouts keeps the leaderboard tight and gives players a real incentive to log in every day.
- Pickaxe Enchanting: Restricting pickaxe enchanting solely to Unbreaking creates massive bottlenecks during moling and map navigating, turning basic mining tasks boring.
- Spawn Utility Shop: Forcing players to abandon the safety of spawn just to get starter kits for basic items like cobwebs and water buckets creates unfair choke points and frustrates newer players.
- Curated Gkits: Complete reliance on random kit drops introduces frustrating gear disparities where fights are decided by luck rather than skill, making structured GKits essential for fair, reliable loadout preparation.
- Prestige Reward Rebalancing: An inverted reward curve where early prestiges grant game-changing utilities while elite late-game ranks hand out useless items like base diamond sets and a 100$ axe completely kills the motivation to prestige further.
Example(s):
- Merging a Sharpness V sword with a Fire Aspect II sword without errors, while rolling Efficiency IV or V alongside Unbreaking on a diamond pickaxe.
- Grinding top Elo positions to earn mode-locked Pika Iron bi-weekly and network-wide Pika Gold at the end of a season.
- Buying stacks of cobwebs and water buckets straight from /shop at spawn instead of farming low-tier players.
- Purchasing specialized GKits like 15% damage-stat combat sets, Sharpness VI weapons, or consumable bundles featuring around 32 golden, 16 diamond, 8 emerald, and 4 ruby heads. More GKits for things such as EXP +50 Level each week, weekly souls note from a GKit and GKits for weekly pet boxes will give players a reason to farm prestiges for ELO top.
- Replacing redundant diamond gear and a 100-coin Sharpness IV axe at high prestiges like Prismarine and Bedrock with seasonal Pharaoh keys or high-tier gear.
I hope this suggestions gets accepted since it's really a great one in my opinion. Everyone wants to see these changes in WildKits.
