Right, so today I got banned for something absolutely mind-blowing.

The staff team is a joke, I got frozen and left with no information for 25 minutes. I then got screenshared which resulted in the staff member (@Luckyint) just leaving half way through and saying he can't do it. I then waited for another staff member to ss me. The initial reason for freezing was that this moron @Luckyint thought I was auto clicking. I did have an auto clicker installed, it's for work, but it hadn't been used. This can be verified by the staff who screenshared (@notax6uuu) me as he went out his way to download a file on my PC and use this to check if it was used or not - This is important

Now you might be thinking, how I end up with a ban then? Because I was using Cosmic Client that by default has a world downloader option. I was not aware world downloader was not allowed, but this is indeed my own fault and I hold my hands up. What I did not expect was the staff to just see its on, and ban me without checking its use. They checked the use of my auto clicker perfectly fine. They were happy to download random things onto my pc (without telling me btw, I was not aware they would need to do this), in the name of checking if I had used auto clicker but would not simply check my Minecraft worlds to see if I had actually used the world downloader?

I find the double standard ridiculous. If you're going out your way to download things onto my device in the name of "doing your job & checking use", hold this standard for each type of modification. DO YOUR JOB AND CHECK USE!

What does the community think? If I'm wrong, tell me outright. It just does not make sense to me at all that they would check use for one modification and completely ignore checking use for the other.

The delay was from my side, and I’ve already apologized for it — once again, I’m sorry. The delay was not intentional, but the situation led to it.

Furthermore, neither I nor Notax6uuu ever mentioned that you were frozen for autoclicking. So I’m not sure why you believe that was the reason.

Lastly, while Cosmic Client may have an inbuilt World Downloader feature, it is still disallowed. Even if it was enabled without your knowledge, it remains your responsibility to ensure the client you use complies with the server rules. You can refer to this page to check which modifications are allowed: https://support.pika-network.net/articles/modifications.

To sum up, if you believe this ban was false, you are welcome to submit an appeal, as Cradlless mentioned above.

i actually find everything in this story fine, except the 25mins long screenshare what. screenshares on pika must not take more than 8 minutes as i remember, however my longest screenshare on rbw is 15 minutes i never saw a screenshare this long for an autoclicker.

Screenshares can take much longer than 25 minutes if needed. There could be conditions which could increase the time of screenshare.

Example include:
Slow device, bypassers and lack of coordination between the screensharer and the suspect.

This list isn't limited, and there's no rule stating that a screenshare must be conducted within 8 minutes.

Im not fussed about the time, its the quality of the SS. Everyone is missing or ignoring the point. Why wasn't I checked for USE on my world download??? When I WAS checked for USE on my Auto Click?

May i suggest something i feel since most of the player base are under 20 and mostly around 12 to 16 per a study i did why not inforce a rule preview to ensure that the server or in a manner of speaking the owner side of business is not and can not be held responsible for situations like these by making sure the player read the rules or just force him to read them in order to access the modes installed in the server i broke the rules and i accepted my punishment and i also think spreading awareness that being screenshared can result in apps being downloaded on the suspect or rule breaker can perhaps have positive reverberations on the server as a whole as many young kids who play may be scared into not committing the crime i am not sure to be honest i rarely check forums now a days but i wanted to leave a positive impact atleast or try

Agreed. On top of this, I also asked a staff member to join a call with me to help make sure I was safe allowing a random stranger to take control of my PC. This was declined. It seems the communication gap between the staff and general community playing is bigger than it should be. If you want access to my PC, I want to be able to talk and hear you through the process. It makes it a lot less sketchy.

Especially with the risk of these randoms going through personal files. The searched files in my case had my passport, ID's, and another sensitive information in. I was told specifically "Only Minecraft files" were to be looked through. Going off this, I did not expect my desktop, my documents or my downloads files to be looked at.

There needs to be safeguarding for the public to ensure players are actually safe when screenshares are going on. For all I know, the staff member recording has a video file of a lot of sensitive info about me. I wanted to ignore this issue on forums, and keep it strictly about the ban and in my opinion: bias and poor staffing. I have sent CraftiGames and Mex Smits an email about this. Awaiting response. This could all have been avoided by simply agreeing to sit in a discord channel with me. I did highlight I had sensitive information, and was promised "Only Minecraft Files" to be looked at which was not the case and has left me feeling vulnerable.
