I mean the reason normal fac is not popular is because of custom enchant. The proof is when before galactic merge with normal, normal fac was played by many players. And pika fac already has a big gap between donators and non-donators power balance. So adding custom enchants within the game would only make the donator stronger and non-donator weaker. At the end making less player joining the game until no one is playing anymore

Keep in mind that normal factions had 2 resets in almost 3 years(First one was in April of 2018 and second one in November of 2019)

I think if Owners put time in reseting Normal Factions and listened to community they could make a great reset.
No one from old Faction Players don't like custom enchants on Normal Factions.
Removing custom enchants, removing mcmmo on weapons, adding faction strikes like on OPFactions, adding cane eco, fixing cannoning problems is a start of making Factions on Pika playable again.

The issue here is that we have new breed of players. Yes, we old players loved the faction before. But new generations preferred easy win and even brag on being PVP Master just because they have 20 max enchants on their tools and armors.

Even if we tried asking for its reset, we highly doubt that players would play, maybe only on first few weeks. This is because they might think the gamemode is too slow and difficult. They prefer having flights and bedrock bases.

But yeah, I agree that Normal Factions won't be as popular as OPFactions, because even though a lot of the players play OPFacs to compete for ftop there is a big number that play just to PvP and they can't do that on normal factions(they can't get armor easy like on OPFacs).

If that's what the staff thinks, then isn't it a better idea to add custom enchant into OpFac making it more OverPower to increase pvp?

If staff want to attract non-donators into the game, they should buff the non-donator kits where it can decrease the gap between donators and non-donators. From the experience of being a non-donators before, the reason non-donator leaves the game early because they don't have the money to start out and start a fac compared to a donator fac. So when I said buff the non-donator kits, provide the non-donator low tier spawners (like a cow or pig spawners) so they can make money easier, or provide some starter money ( like 1k-2k) to get some amount of start.

Buffing non-donator kits would just ruin the economy and gameplay since everyone would be too OP. It should be the other way around, nerfing the donator kits. But that would result to reduction of popularity of gamemode, as I said, there's new breed of players. And Factions isn't about spawners, before Factions dont have Spawners.

But I think Faction Gamemode is pretty much "dead" since the community already has the P2W mindset and pro-PVPers are fully enchanted gears player. You can't drag players to play normal Factions where you can only /fly if you donated real money, raidable cannon, or less enchantment levels.

Im not talking about making members more op but providing them a chance or more way to get a good start. If u look at those power fac, they can get tons of high tiers spawners together within a day just for the reason that they have lots of donator and more kits in one fac. Providing a free spawner to member would not make them too OP instead giving them some chance to go against the donators, Giving them a chance to play without donating and in the same time a harder time

Its true to not nerf the donator kits since they paid for it, so they kepp it. Im just saying to decrease the gap between donators and non-donators by having the donators to still have their advantages but non-donators also have their chances. And the best way is to provide benefits to non-donators making them having the basic parts of making money. Comparing between the non-donators and donators, non-donators only have a starter set and a iron pvp set. While donators have P4 armor, S5 swords, and loads of spawners (Blazes, Iron Golem, Pigman, and etc). Providing a spawner (Cow, Pig, Chicken) or starter money would not make them too OP but gives them a way to gain money.

And what is being said about being fac being 'dead' is mostly due to the gap of donators and non-donators. Fac is a competitive game where you raid each other and become richer. And in fac, most donators are mostly forming into a single fac making it the strongest among the rest. Donators joining together can cause that fac to gain a better start and higher efficency than the others. So when the grace period is over, they can directly destroy the progress of other fac (especially the non-donators) causing them to quit the game. The reason for this because facing a power fac, unless they can raid them (which is nearly impossible with 40+ player in those fac) they would not be able to exceed in f top through grinding.
