Does /leave affect stats?

Hello everyone,

I have a few questions regarding how the /leave command works in Bedwars:

  • Win Streaks: Does using /leave break or reset your current win streak?
  • Total Games Played: Does exiting a game with /leave count towards your overall total games played stat?
  • Losses: Does leaving via /leave count as a loss on your profile?

Any clarification from experienced players or staff would be greatly appreciated!

I think /leave breaks your winstreak but im not sure about the others

If you type /leave before your bed breaks, your winstreaks will be saved, however you will be banned for exploiting as you are trying to keep your winstreak with unfair advantages.

  • Total Games Played: Does exiting a game with /leave count towards your overall total games played stat?
Yes, it counts.

  • Losses: Does leaving via /leave count as a loss on your profile?
You already lose your bed, so even if you did /leave after you died, it will be treated as leaving the game normally like how people are leaving as a spectator and start a new game after they lost.

What if they disconnect instead of leaving will it have the same effect ?

Thank you for the detailed response!

I just have one follow-up question regarding the first point:

If a player types /leave (or disconnects) before their bed breaks, I understand that the winstreak is saved but it is considered an exploitative/bannable offense. However, does that specific game still count as a loss and add to their total games played?

Just curious about how the stat system handles the match itself in that scenario. Thanks again

You won't get a +1 on your wins/losses but in total games played.

However, your winstreak won't be reset too (if you have one) because you hubbed during the game which is not allowed.

if you disconnect before losing the bed your winstreak will be saved and you won't be banned. yes you're still exploiting but it can't be proven.
the rest are the same as typing /leave 👍

Your KillDeath ratio must decrease as well as it increases deaths (correct me if im wrong)

It’s highly ironic that you are openly advising players on how to bypass the rules and exploit the system. Stating that "yes you're still exploiting but it can't be proven" actively encourages players to ruin the integrity of the stats system for everyone who plays fairly.

Furthermore, a lot of us are already aware of what goes on behind the scenes with stat-padding and client abuse. For instance, the community and staff have seen recent YouTube videos from channels like noxchi (CLICK) that explicitly showcase blatant PikaNetwork hacking and game exploits.

In these videos, it is incredibly obvious that they are using unauthorized clients, specifically showcasing:

  • KillAura / Reach: Hitting players perfectly from impossible distances and angles.
  • Scaffold / Auto-Bridge: Instantly bridging across the void without crouching or aiming.
  • Velocity (Anti-Knockback): Taking zero knockback when hit by enemies.
  • Player ESP: Tracking player locations and movements through solid blocks.
When you combine those blatant client exploits with you sitting on the forums giving step-by-step advice on how to save winstreaks through disconnecting, it paints a very clear picture of how the system is being abused.

If you have to resort to disconnecting before your bed breaks just to maintain a fake winstreak—or rely on external clients to get an advantage—those stats mean absolutely nothing.

Let's keep the game fair and stop encouraging people to break the rules just because you think it "can't be proven."

In what effect you're talking about?

first of all, i don't think it can't be proven, i know it can't. staff and devs agree too. disconnecting before your bed breaks literally cannot be proven. the way staff check if you left the game (and whether you should be banned) is by looking at your chat logs. if you just disconnect, you're fine, because you haven't typed anything.

second, i already made bug reports about this and about the /p warp exploit too, which is even worse because it saves your winstreak even after bed break. since the warp is instant, you could make a bot that warps you automatically right before you lose. this is how most players get on the leaderboards you think are so sacred and inviolable. devs said they're working on fixing the winstreak saving bugs and they're gonna be looked into. still good news for the server.

and yeah, i agree with you: stats earned through unfair advantages are worthless. but i don't think you realize you're on pikanetwork, where this is the norm, sadly. games are supposed to be fun, and stats don't mean much here with how many loopholes exist. that's why i tell people about them.

the leaderboard system is compromised. this is how most people get there. i'm just sharing info. use it at your own risk, or play fair and stay legit, no one's stopping you.

as for the cheating vids, you sound like you're trying to scare me lol. staff can do their job and ban me if they want, i'm fine with that.

I appreciate you taking the time to explain your perspective, and it’s genuinely good that you’ve reported these bugs—including the /p warp exploit—to the developers. However, your justification for openly teaching players how to abuse these loopholes is heavily flawed.

First, the argument that it "cannot be proven" because staff only check chat logs doesn't make the action acceptable; it just means players are taking advantage of a technical limitation in the moderation tools. Exploiting a blind spot is still exploiting.

Second, reporting a bug to the developers doesn't give you a green light to teach the public how to abuse it while it remains unpatched. By sharing step-by-step instructions on the forums, you aren't just "sharing info"—you are actively contributing to the exact leaderboard corruption you are complaining about. If the devs are working on a fix, the right move is to wait for the patch, not encourage everyone to abuse the system before it gets closed.

Third, the mentality that "this is the norm on PikaNetwork" is a defeatist mindset that makes the problem worse. Normalizing exploits because "stats don't mean much here anyway" creates a toxic cycle. If the veteran community accepts abusing loopholes as the standard, it completely ruins the experience for any new or legitimate player trying to enjoy the game fairly.

Lastly, bringing up the cheating videos wasn't an attempt to scare you. It was an analogy to show that normalizing "untraceable" exploits—whether that's disconnecting to save a streak or using a ghost client—stems from the exact same mindset: bypassing detection to gain an unearned advantage. We should be trying to hold the community to a higher standard rather than settling for the lowest common denominator.

anyway, you didn't actually respond to anything i said. you just restated your opinion in fancier words. i told you how it works, why it can't be proven, and that i already reported it. you responded with a lecture about morality. cool.

you also keep saying i'm "teaching people to abuse it" when all i did was answer a question honestly. if that bothers you, take it up with the devs to patch it faster. this glitch has been around for 5+ years. it only became a real problem in 2026 when people started automating it. the community was genuinely better a few years back. so telling me to "just wait for the patch" when it's been ignored for half a decade is wild.

and yeah sure, it was an "analogy." whatever helps you sleep at night.

Alright, fair enough. I hear you on the 5-year glitch thing—if the devs have actually ignored it for half a decade, I get why you're cynical about the leaderboards and why you feel like it's the norm now. That genuinely sucks.

But saying 'you won't get banned because they can't prove it' isn't just answering a question, it's giving people the green light to abuse it. That's my whole point. You can explain how a game mechanic works without validating the exploit.

Anyway, I'm not here to argue in circles. We both know the stat system has serious issues, we just disagree on how the community should handle it while waiting for a fix. Let's just agree to disagree and drop it here. Have a good one
