Classic SkyBlock Guide

SkyBlock is a popular form of survival in Minecraft that has gained popularity since its release. It provides the difficult task of surviving on a block in the sky given very few resources. Us in Pika though take things a bit further than just your ''Classic Skyblock Experience'' on an island with only some dirt and a tree to help you survive. Here I will explain to you everything you need to know for your time on the Classic Skyblock Gamemode and how to grow your island fast with some tips from experienced players and veterans.

Commands:​

• /help [page] - All the help commands you'll need.​
• /island help - All the island commands you'll need.​
• /mobcoins help - All you need to know about the mobcoin commands.​
• /is top - The top islands of the server.​
• /is top help - All you the information you need about the top islands.​
• /ah help - All you need to know about the auctions of the server.​
• /shop - The shop of the server.​
• /transfer - The mobcoins shop of the server.​

Island Creation & Starting Tips ​

• Island Creation - Type the command /is create and pick one of the three pre-made islands for you to start on.​
• Cobblestone Generator - By digging up 5 blocks straight forward and digging down one more block in the middle and one towards the end of the line right next to the one you just dug at the middle. (as it's shown here!) When that step is done, fill the part of the side the two 1x1 holes are closer in with water and the other side with lava. (take a look!) When that step is done as well, create a small site for you to farm cobblestones at and you are all set! (You can get ores like Iron, Lapis, Diamonds, Emeralds, Gold, Redstone, and Coal)​
• Money - Getting money is quite easy. All you have to do is sell the items that you get from the generator in the Shop.​

Mobcoins & Transfer Shop​

• Mobcoins - Mobcoin is a currency that can be obtained by exchanging 10 heads for 1 mobcoin (any type of heads) on the /heads storage or by killing specified mobs which will drop mobcoins on their own. (shown in the chat when it happens) Mobs like these are Blazes, Skeletons, and Guardians. The best choice of these three is easily Blazes because you can stick them up easily and farm them peacefully and without them moving around. They are also very valuable resources towards the late game because you can get millions of money in a currency with them.​
• Transfer Shop - The Transfer Shop on SkyBlock is where you spend all of your mobcoins. This shop contains 7 Special Items and resets every 2 days. The items that it contains are rare so they are also worth a lot of mobcoins. The shop can contain stuff from Feed Vouchers to even Ranks (rare) so be sure to check it out every once in a while!​

️ Supply Drops ️​

• Supply Drops are spawned every 1 hour on WarZone when there are more than 30 people online at the server. When the event starts, 20 supply crates will spawn in the warzone, and people must go down and claim them as fast as possible! These crates are very powerful and can contain almost everything you need to rank yourself up fast!​

Skills

The skills provide an experience and leveling mechanic for different actions which are especially bound to Classic SkyBlock.
Leveling up these skills will provide you with some great and bigger rewards, such as getting a higher chance of double drops from those skills, or even better perks!

Currently, there are 7 skills:


Lumberjack:

Ability 1 - Double Wood Chance:
+1.5% per level.

Ability 2 - Bulk Cutting:
Breaks wood in bulk for 3 seconds, activate it by pressing Shift + Right Click whilst holding an Axe.

Ability 3 - Lucky Lumberjack:
Chance to get higher rewards.


Miner:

Ability 1 - Double Ores Chance:
+1.15% per level to drop double ores.

Ability 2 - Mass Miner:
Breaks ores in a 3x3 area in front of you instantly, activate it by pressing Shift + Right Click whilst holding a Pickaxe.

Ability 3 - Excavate Eject:
Respawns the ore instantly and gives you double loot for the next 15 seconds.


Swords:

Ability 1 - Serrated Strikes:
Turn your next hit into an AOE hit. The AOE damage is single target damage / 4. It also has an added special effect, where it has a chance to apply Rupture, a special effect that's basically bleeding.

Ability 2 - Counter Attack:
When blocking your shield, you have a chance to reflect 50% of the damage taken

Ability 3 - Rupture:
Rupture is like a bleeding effect, that increases in duration the higher the level of your sword is.


Axes:

Ability 1 - Skull Splitter:
Turns your next hit into an AOE hit. The AOE damage is single target damage /2.

Ability 2 - Critical Strikes:
Allow players to crit damage without having to jump. A crit does twice the amount of damage.

Ability 3 - Axe Mastery:
Adds bonus damage to an axe. Depending on your axes level

Ability 4 - Armor Impact:
Adds a passive increase in damage to other players' armor


Archery:

Ability 1 - Agile Arrows:
Deals extra damage with bows when activated. Shift-Right click with your bow to activate.


Banker:

Ability 1 - Money Madness:
Items you sell in the /shop have a chance to be multiplied by x1.25. This is chance-based and each level will gain you a 0.25% chance to activate.


Farmer:

Ability 1 - Double Crops Chance:
Gain double crops.

Ability 2 - Farm Mania:
Automatically farms any crops in a 3 blocks radius for 5 seconds, activate it by pressing Shift + Right Click whilst holding a Hoe.

Ability 3 - Prosperous Farming:
Automatically replants the crops.

Other useful commands:

/kit - has multiple kits for donators and non-donators, this even includes a starter kit.
/spawn - teleports you to the spawn.
/warp crate - you can earn various rewards by opening the different crates available.
/warp pvp - one of the places in CSB where pvp is enabled, You can lose items in a warzone.
/warp fps - similar to /warp pvp but it's completely made from glass and is small compared to warzone helping in boosting your fps during pvp and having a small pvp arena.
/gift [username] - send items to another player even when they are offline /playtimereward- you can claim a playtime reward just by playing the game mode.

Levels

Classic SkyBlock has a level system that unlocks multiple valuable rewards

• The way the level system works: There are levels 1-100, and each level has its own task which you need to complete in return for a reward, the higher the level better the reward. The levels are shown next to your name in the chat​

Spawner system

Classic SkyBlock spawner system is different from the regular vanilla spawner system

• Spawners can be bought from /shop and can stack up to 250spawner into each spawner
• Spawner spawn mobs in stacks, example:10000 villagers- it means there are 10k villagers in 1 villager and it can be killed 10k times
• The spawning rate increases with an increase in the number of spawners
• The spawning condition is almost the same as vanilla, example1: you need a low light level for hostile mobs to spawn, example2: You need grass for mobs like pigs to spawn

Shop system

The shop system is a feature in Classic SkyBlock that allows you to buy/sell items from other players even when you are offline.
You can create a shop by the following steps:

1. Place a chest and a sign.
2. Type [shop]
3. Open your shop menu.
4. Select an item from your inventory.
5. Set price.
