Can anyone explain what does a "Scanned" report mean?

I reported this guy for ban evasion (His other account got banned for scamming and the ban havent expired yet), and he got punished, but the status of the report is "Scanned"
Can anyone explain what does "Scanned" mean?

The tag scanned means that , the report has been reviewed by the staff and the reply is to be expected soon enough ( my english kinda bad )
