What does a high Elo mean in gaming?


The Elo rating system used the player's stats and overall performance. Based on the data, if a player wins more games than expected, their rating goes up. If they lose a lot of matches, their rating goes down. The USCF implemented the Elo system in 1960 and the World Chess Federation adopted it in 1970.

elo is your rating or your rank
elo is usually a practice pvp term
so if u play ranked practice u might know about it
so originally everyone has same elo lets say 1000
if u win u gain elo and if u lose u lose elo
higher ur elo means higher your skill cap
consider elo to be like trophies (like in clash of clans)
higher trophies means harder matchmaking and tougher opponents
