Suggestion:
Add In-Game Rules Menu

Detailed description:
I suggest adding an in-game rules menu that players can access through a command such as /rules or from the spawn area. Currently, many players are unaware of the server rules because they are only available on the forums or website, which can lead to accidental rule violations. Having the rules easily accessible in-game would help new and existing players understand what is allowed and what is not, reduce unnecessary punishments and appeals, and improve the overall player experience by making important information available at any time.

Reason(s):
Many players do not check the forums or website before playing, which means they may not know all the server rules. Adding an in-game rules menu would make important information easier to access, reduce accidental rule breaking, help new players learn the server faster, and decrease the number of unnecessary punishments and support requests.

Example(s):
  • A new player can use /rules to quickly check whether a specific action is allowed.
  • Players can review the rules without leaving the server and opening the website.
  • Before reporting or appealing a punishment, players can verify the relevant rule in-game.
  • Staff members can simply direct players to /rules when they have questions about server rules.

  • /rules opens a GUI containing all important server rules.
  • A rules NPC can be added at spawn for easy access.
  • Players can check rules instantly without visiting the forums.

The rules are quite easily accessible in my opinion. Players can type /rules in and it takes them to the rules page where they can read it all.
There's too many rules to all be put in-game.

The /rules command does actually exist, but I agree that there is nothing that tells you to type /rules. You cannot know if you haven't tried it

While I understand the goal is to make rules more accessible, I don't see this being effective in practice. If players are already unwilling to read a neatly formatted forum post, they definitely aren’t going to sit down and read a wall of text in a clunky Minecraft book when they just want to play.

Adding an in-game book will likely just result in cluttered words as the formatting inside Minecraft books rarely looks clean. The only way an in-game system actually works is if new players are forced into a short, unskippable intro/tutorial listing the rules upon joining. Otherwise, it sounds good on paper, but no one will actually read it.
