It's not about do I trust you or not, evidence is what you need based from which high staff member can provide items back.

To access logs history files press windows Key + R at the same time. "Run" dialogue box will open in bottom left of your screen,
than paste"%appdata%/.minecraft/logs".
It's hard to prove anything without video/screenshot proof(s).
