This season we have taken a step back, and have had a proper look at what makes OpFactions an enjoyable gamemode, we have limited the amount of features, and streamlined the overall gameplay. We hope you will all enjoy this brand new season of OpFactions.

Changelog
The most important features/modifications implemented towards this season's map and functions are the following.

A new OpFactions season means a brand-new spawn to kick off the new season, and this season brings a fresh theme once again.





We will reducing the amount of worlds that are available for this season at OpFactions, instead of 4 worlds, we will now only have 2 worlds, meaning less corners, less places to build a base, and therefore we hope to have a bigger competition now that we are bringing back the attention to raiding again, instead of points.

This season, we want to streamline your experience on OpFactions and have made several big changes to accomplish this.
Our goal is to bring back the core of the gamemode, making it more accessible, balanced, and competitive while removing features that made gameplay feel too complex or limiting.

A new AntiCheat is finally coming to OpFactions to tackle cheaters in PvP.
We have tested and refined the previous AntiCheat to ensure it works properly without causing crashes, lagbacks, or false flags. This will create a fairer and more competitive experience for all players.

A brand-new spawn and warzone have been introduced, designed to make everything more compact and accessible.
All key features are now in one easy-to-navigate area, making it easier for both new and returning players to find everything they need.

We have listened to your feedback and decided to remove Faction Points for now.
This means Faction Top will once again focus on spawners and raiding, bringing back the classic competitive experience. Faction Points may return in a new form in the future, but for now, we’re keeping it simple.

The Battle Pass is taking a break this season, as we work on a new and improved version.
We want to refine the system to make it more rewarding and engaging, so expect it to return in a future season with fresh challenges and better progression.

To streamline gameplay and make things more accessible, we have removed the Fund and Combiner systems.
These features ended up making good items too rare, causing them to be underused due to the fear of losing them. With their removal, progression is now more straightforward, ensuring that valuable items can be used without hesitation.

We are simplifying the way sets work!
From now on, sets will no longer have different rarities.
Instead, every time you obtain a set, its boosts will have a random value and/or chance assigned to them.
This means that no two sets will be exactly the same—sometimes you might get a stronger version with better effects, while other times it may be slightly weaker than a previous one.

We have added special tokens that you can use to enhance your sets, these tokens have a limit of how many can be applied, so choose wise which token to apply, because once applied, you will not be able to take them off.

All special weapons, including swords, bows, and axes, will now be non-rarity weapons, simplifying the system while keeping them powerful.
Each weapon will now have the same effects as their current epic version, ensuring that all players get balanced and strong weapons.
Simply said, before you had a common, rare, epic & legendary version of these weapons, and with this new upcoming reset, you will just have the sword, giving the same boosts always, no longer you will need to upgrade your swords using the combiner, as this has been removed as a whole.

Introducing the Salvager, a new feature that allows you to sell sets, weapons, pets, or masks for EXP!
This makes it easier to get value from extra or unwanted items while boosting your experience gains.

- Access the Salvager from inside an anvil.
- Select the item you want to salvage.
- Receive EXP in return based on the item's power.
Turn your unused gear into EXP and power up faster than ever!

Dungeons have been updated to streamline the experience while keeping the challenge exciting.
We will continue with three dungeons for now, with the possibility of adding a fourth in the future.

In the warzone, three portals are now positioned near the arena entrances, leading to different dungeons.
Each dungeon requires a fee to enter and has a cooldown period before you can attempt it again:
Dungeon 1: 24-hour cooldown (1 day)
Dungeon 2: 48-hour cooldown (2 days)
Dungeon 3: 96-hour cooldown (4 days)

Since we have removed the Battle Pass, it's now required that you will pay a set amount of Boss Tokens in order to enter a dungeon, you can only start a dungeon when you have enough Boss Tokens to start it, this is a replacement requirement for a battlepass level requirement.

If you don’t want to wait for the cooldown to expire, you can skip it by purchasing a Dungeon Key, allowing you to re-enter instantly.
All players inside the dungeon will now also receive the reward, previously the rewards weren't giving to all players, and only the top damagers from the final boss, this has now been changed to every player in the dungeon, so teamwork inside the dungeons will now work properly.

The Arena Challenge System has been reworked to provide a more structured and competitive experience.
The system will now include 8 arenas, each with unique mobs, spawn mechanics, and kill requirements to progress.

Each arena is 50x50x25 in size and contains between 2 to 4 unique mobs. The mob types will remain the same as before, however they will now drop Arena Tokens depending on the difficulty of the arena, these tokens can be spent in the Arena Shop to purchase brand new equipment for your loadouts.

Each arena will have 35 mob spawners, ensuring a consistent challenge.
Spawners operate on a timer-based system, so the exact number of mobs at any time may vary.

Each arena has a set number of kills required before unlocking the next one:
- Cave 1: 250 kills
- Cave 2: 500 kills
- Cave 3: 1,000 kills
- Cave 4: 1,500 kills
- Cave 5: 2,500 kills
- Cave 6: 5,000 kills
- Cave 7: 10,000 kills
- Cave 8: Unlimited kills

All pets will now be non-rarity pets, simplifying the system and making them easier to use.
Every pet will now have the same effects as their current rare version, ensuring balance while keeping them powerful.
Additionally, pets will no longer have levels, meaning their effects will always have the same strength, and no longer depends on the level of a pet.

We’ve put in a lot of work to polish and fix as many bugs as possible on the OpFactions server.
We carefully reviewed all reported issues and successfully fixed them.
If you find any bugs with the new release, please report them in the bug reports section on our forums.

Multiple small changes have been made, some of these small changes are the following:
- We have updated /warp FPS again.
- Added new KOTHs.
- Added a new KOTH Loottable to fit with the new items.
- Updated the goldshop items and layout.
- We have done a complete overhaul of all the menus and their features.
- Everything should now be more accessible, without having the issue of nagivating through menus and features.
- All outposts have received new changes to their boosts, you can view the new outposts using /outpost.
- The raiding outposts rewards have been doubled.
- The /f map will now show properly again.
- Dungeon Bosses no longer have only 50HP.
- Added back a brand new boss shop.
- The loadout shop has been updated and now has new items.
- The same goes for the rotating loadout shop.
- ...and much more.
