Horrible Reporting System

Many people are either hacking, ping abusing or just plain old insulting in private chat, and for some reason pika expects normal players to be recording games for "proof" and for us to link our discord accounts to the server which is not even popping up as an option for me. Honestly this server is degrading and idk what to do. One specific ping abuser I approached was Best_Of_India who also insulted me during the game and I could not do anything because of pika's horrible restrictions and expectations.

Jokes aside, i do agree that they need to work on their reporting system
 
Ping abusing, I assume you mean having either very high or very low ping, isn't punishable. If they insulted you, I believe you know how to take screenshot (F2), uploading the photo is even simpler and making a report is also nothing harder than previous steps. If someone is hacking, well, you will need to record the game, and I don't think there is any other way to avoid that process that could possibly be implemented.

If you don't want to report a player for breaking a chat rule, don't forget you can always do /ignore <username> and even if they insult you again, you ain't gonna see that no more.
 
No I mean players who are switching from 50 ping to 300 ping when they get near me, walk thru me and then switch back to their original low ping. And even me is somewhat understandable, but most players don't have access to powerful systems and get some performance, which is just enough to get by. Expecting everyone to record even for basic complaints and having the person to post it before uploading it to the report system instead of directly uploading is also obnoxious. I go from around 150-250 fps straight to around 40-80 fps when recording.

How else would you expect to get a person banned from the server. Video evidence is always necessary when reporting cheaters on the forums. There's no other way. You can use /report, or contact a staff member who's online at the moment, but I don't see what's wrong in this process, as it's the most fair and accurate way to report a player. Ping however does sometimes fluctuate which can get annoying, but that's not always your the server's fault since the server host is in EU, and anyone away from Europe could expect this.

That's because the photo doesn't directly upload if you post it without a link.

This might be a problem from your side also so try switching networks or make a vpn appeal and play peacefully 😭

so i wouldnt be banned thats good (since i play on an avg of 23ms)
