Hello, dear PikaNetwork players.

We are here with some big news. After a lot of consideration we have decided to give our SkyBlock gamemode a massive revamp.
We noticed SkyBlock has always been a less competitive version of OpSkyBlock that runs on the modern version of Minecraft.

For that reason, we want this gamemode to have it's own identify, so, with that being said, SkyBlock will now continue as OneBlock!
With this rebranding comes some new features to make it even more exciting, quality of life changes and much more.

Changelog​

The most important features/modifications implemented towards this season's map and functions are the following.​

​

SkyBlock Replaced by OneBlock​

OneBlock will officially replace SkyBlock.​

​

To make this transition fair for everyone, all perks and ranks that you have purchased and/or obtained on SkyBlock will carry over to OneBlock.​

You will not lose your bought benefits, and your rank advantages will remain active.​

​

This ensures a smooth and fair change while bringing a fresh new experience to the server.​

What is OneBlock?​

Before we explain the features, it is important to understand what OneBlock is.​

​

OneBlock is a fun and unique survival gamemode that we are excited to bring to PikaNetwork.​

The main idea of OneBlock is simple. You start with almost nothing and slowly build your own world from it.​

​

Starting with One Block​

In OneBlock, you begin on a single block floating in the sky. This block is the only thing you have at the start.​

When you break the block, a new block appears in the same place. The block can be many different things such as dirt, wood, stone, ores, or more valuable materials as you continue. Your goal is to use these resources to expand your island and grow stronger over time.​

Growing Your Island​

As you keep breaking the block, you move through different stages. Each stage gives new types of blocks, new materials, and new challenges.​

You will discover different environments like forests, caves, and even the nether. Each environment brings its own materials and mobs. These help you craft tools, build your island, and protect yourself from danger.​

​

By managing your resources wisely and expanding carefully, you can turn one small block into a large and thriving island.​

Island Top to compete for rewards​

You can buy spawners from the Spawner Shop and place them on your island.​

​

These spawners increase your island value and help you climb the Island Top leaderboard.​

Every three weeks, the top 3 islands with the highest value will earn rewards.​

​

The rewards are given in the form of Pika Iron and are distributed every two weeks.​

Climb Through Phases to Upgrade Your Island​

In OneBlock, the game is divided into different phases. Each phase is like a new level. As you keep playing and breaking the block, you move from one phase to the next.​

Start from the Bottom​

When you begin, you are in the first phase. Every time you break the block, it gives you a new block or item. At the start, you will get simple materials like dirt and wood. As you continue breaking the block, you will unlock the next phase.​

​

Discover New Blocks and Mobs​

Each new phase gives different blocks, materials, and sometimes new mobs. In one phase, you might get forest blocks like trees and flowers. In another phase, you might get cave blocks like stone and coal, along with cave mobs.​

There are many phases, and each one is different. Some are easier and some are harder, but they all help you grow your island and unlock new content. The further you progress, the more interesting the game becomes. Once you unlock a phase, you can switch back to it anytime to collect more blocks from that stage.​

Unlock Collections to Gather More Spawners​

Collections are available for every mob that can drop a spawner. To level up a collection, you must kill the specific mob linked to that collection.​

In OneBlock, many different spawners will be available. Once unlocked, they can be purchased from the /shop. To unlock them, you need to progress through the collection levels.​

​

Progress Through Milestones​

Each collection level has a milestone that requires you to kill a certain number of mobs. As you reach higher levels, you unlock more powerful spawners that help you gather more resources and progress faster.​

Collections are shared across your island. Every island member can help by grinding mobs, making teamwork important for upgrading your collection level.​

An overhauled economy​

The economy has been completely reworked to better fit OneBlock progression.​

​

Shop Changes​

You can no longer buy every item directly from the /shop. Most items are now locked behind your OneBlock progression, meaning you need to unlock them by playing and advancing through phases.​

​

Earn Through Progression​

Instead of buying everything, you now earn items by breaking your block, unlocking phases, and progressing naturally. You can sell these items to make money or grind mobs and sell their drops for profit.​

This creates a fresh and more balanced economy where progression matters, grinding feels meaningful, and players are rewarded for actively playing the gamemode.​

Gather Mob Coins to spend in the Transfer Shop​

Mob Coins are becoming more important than they ever were in SkyBlock.​

Every time you defeat a player or a mob, there is a chance you'll be rewarded with Mob Coins.​

​

Spend your mob coins in the Transfer Shop​

These hard-earned Souls can be spent in a special place: the Transfer Shop.​

The Transfer Shop is an exclusive in-game shop where you can exchange Mob Coins for rare and powerful items.​

Login everyday for free rewards​

Staying active every day now gives even more value through the Login Streak system.​

​

Daily Rewards​

Log in every day and claim your reward. Each day you log in increases your streak and unlocks better rewards.​

The more consecutive days you log in, the stronger and more valuable the rewards become. This system is designed to reward consistent players who stay active throughout the season.​

​

Make sure not to miss a day, because keeping your streak alive will help you progress faster and gain useful bonuses along the way.​

Modern PvP mechanics has returned​

PvP at spawn has been completely updated and is no longer 1.8 PvP.​

​

Modern Combat System​

The new arena now uses modern PvP mechanics, meaning cooldown based combat instead of classic 1.8 spam clicking.​

This creates more strategic and timing based fights.​

​

New Spawn Arena​

A brand new PvP arena has been built inside spawn, giving players a dedicated place to fight, practice, and compete using modern combat.​

​

Participate in fun Chat Games​

Chat Games have been improved to make them more fun and rewarding.​

​

Earn Rewards While Chatting​

New and improved Chat Games now give you the chance to earn extra rewards in a simple and fun way. Participate in chat challenges, answer quickly, and win useful prizes.​

This update adds more activity to chat and gives everyone a casual way to earn bonuses while playing.​

Misc. Updates & Changes​

Multiple small changes have been made, some of these small changes are the following:​

• Added a new seasonal crate.
• Performance improvements.
• Updated the Anti Cheat.
