Hello, Sir htge,

Glad you discovered that people can be nicked in 2025. Truly shocking stuff.

Let me break it down for you like it’s your first time logging into Minecraft:

  1. You could just screenshot the guy being racist (y’know, since that’s the actual evidence), grab a shot of the tab list too (not that hard), and go to the “Report a Player” section here on the forums — which, crazy enough, you’re already on. Upload to Imgur like everyone else who’s figured out the internet.
  2. Or just wait for the match to end like a normal human and check the match recap to see their real IGN. Then use that futuristic command called /report. You might’ve heard of it.
  3. Or — and this one’s for the truly desperate — start speedrunning name guesses with /report (name) and hope you hit the jackpot. Only a 60-second cooldown so I’m sure you’ll catch ‘em in 2032.
Best of luck, Detective htge. 🕵️‍♂️ Let us know when you crack the case.

At first you don't have to make fun of someone who doesn't understand how something work. Second of all htge, when reporting a player for something like Discrimination and the player is nicked (you can tell by the ~ at the beginning of their name) you can hover over the player's nick to get his realname, or using the /realname command, this way you can find the rule breaker real name and provide it in the player report, thank you and hope you enjoy your time in PikaNetwork

You're completely right, MEF_E, and I truly apologize. It wasn’t my intention to be rude or make fun of anyone — I was trying to be lighthearted, but I realize now it came off as dismissive and unkind. Thank you for stepping in and explaining things respectfully, especially the part about /realname — that’s genuinely useful and I appreciate you taking the time to help.

And to htge — I want to sincerely apologize to you as well. I shouldn’t have responded the way I did. You were just asking for help with something confusing and important, and instead of being supportive, I made a joke at your expense. That was unfair, uncalled for, and I regret it. Nobody deserves to be talked down to for asking a question, especially not when it’s about something serious like discrimination. You were doing the right thing by trying to report it, and I should’ve respected that.

I hope you can accept my apology. I’ll be more mindful moving forward, and I truly wish you both the best. Thanks again for the reminder to handle things with more kindness and respect.
