Xray Allow?

I just want to ask how are u able to get evidence on players that have X-ray hacks. Since if u want to report a hacker that is hacking, u would need a recording of them demonstrating it. However, how do u record them doing it? Let's not talk about how long u need to stay recording for u to catch that player's X-ray ur base, but what kind of evidence is valid. If ur base is unclaimed and it got found by X-ray, they give out the excuse that they saw names. If ur base is claimed, they can just say they saw through /f map. Both ways, it gives them enough excuse to say they are not hacking. So I want to know what is the best way that exists to ban X-ray hackers in terms of evidence. (Also that includes asking staff for screen checks because not all staff are willing to do that)

P.S: above is just a question about X-ray hackers in Factions

you cant really record them xraying the best way you can get someone banned for xray would be using ./f inspect, clicking on the blocks they broke, and show the route they took

Usually you can't record someone x-raying as it requires to be in spectator mode, which isn't obviously do able in Factions, but to get them for x-raying is just simply find out there path and basically reporting it to a staff member, also try recording there pathway they took, because x-rayers use a strategy of their own when doing x-ray

I understand what is being said about following the path that the X-ray dug through along with finding out who raided the base. But what if even if u got the recording of those parts, it still isn't enough to ban the player because the staff believes that it is insufficient evidence?

As long as your video is over a minute it should be valid and you should be able to use that as evidence,

And about the video: That's exactly what an x-rayer would do and it's long enough to report it and get him banned

X-ray isn't legal at all. While it's hard to report them, staff can still stalk the suspect and/or ask for a screen share

you can get evidence by spectating them and if they are mining in a specific pattern then they are xraying. also you can get paid anti xrays where if a person turns on xray then they will only see ores around them (Fake ores)

you can get evidence by spectating them and if they are mining in a specific pattern then they are xraying. also you can get paid anti xrays where if a person turns on xray then they will only see ores around them (Fake ores)

you say get evidence of spectating them and mining pattern of their route. Spectating I want to know how to do that, and mining pattern I think that video posted shows his mining pattern turned direction and went straight to the middle of the base in y lvl

Even though I'm not a hacker, I think hackers won't listen to that because there are people that like to put their happiness on top of other people's misery

Report is report. But that depends if the staff is wise enough to do the right thing. My friend had a conversation with staff about a report he gave in which got denied. He asked for the reason why it got denied. And the response from the staff was that the glitch is unclear due to the method being unclear so he is unable to give the punishment. When I heard that I am pretty mad because a glitch is a glitch, why do u need to know how that glitch happen.

With that kind of internal feeling, Does that determine whether these types of people arent suitable for the staff position?
