why did my shulker disappear

i broke a shulker full of building blocks, and it disapeared, and the last entity removsal was a few minutes ago and i look in hcat it didnt sday entities removed, its happend to me before but thids time the shulker was veryu important

If you had tried rejoining you might have got it back, placed on the same block, if thatw as glitched due to server.
