/topmine Command in skymines
Detailed description:
Skymines already includes several popular leaderboard commands such as /baltop, /killstreaktop, and /is top, which allow players to compete in areas like balance, PvP, and island progression. I would like to suggest adding a new command: /topmine, which would display the top players based on the number of blocks mined. Since mining is the core mechanic of Skymines, it makes sense to reward and recognize players who put in time and effort toward grinding. This feature would encourage more active participation and healthy competition among the community. The command could display a top 10 list, showing player names and blocks mined, and could be updated daily, weekly, or monthly to keep things fresh. This system would also give non-PvP players a meaningful way to compete and feel accomplished. It would drive activity, improve retention, and bring more excitement to mining progression — all while fitting the server’s theme and balance.
Reason(s):
This addition would create a healthy competitive environment focused on mining, which is what Skymines is all about. It also gives non-PvP players another way to stand out and feel rewarded. It encourages players to stay longer, grind harder, and aim for top rankings, boosting the server's player engagement.
Example(s):
- /topmine → Displays: Rank, Player Name, Total Blocks Mined
- Updates live or periodically for server performance
- Resets only when the Skymines season resets
- Optionally: Show your own mining rank with /minecount
