Whats it for i dont really know why i have 64 sponge ! Whats the use?

Not helpful for raids at all. Can be used if you are in unclaimed territory and running in pvp then you can make your way in the water. That's the only use I know of sponges in factions

Also you can clean water if you mess up while building your base
