Hi guys, CPT here just to clear out some of the romours and negativity sorouding Galactix. The current situation is i'd say a bit complicated, to really understand galactix you have to know at least a bit of what has been happening this season. I'll also answer some of the questions i see asked a lot in game.
Is it actually dead?
From my prespective Galactix isn't dead, there is a small group of OG's that still play, and i've also noticed that there are quite a bit of new players that acutally stick around for a few weeks and enjoy playing it. These player counts i'll give you rn are player counts i've noticed during my time as staff:
From the months of February to April galactix was getting about 1-6 players online max when it would get something over 6 it was a rare occasion and it didn't last long.
From May to the present day galactix is getting a increased number of players online ranging from 2-10 but still there are those parts of day when it does get 0 players online. There are times that galactix gets 15 players online but that usually happens on the weekends and last for about 30 minutes or so somewhere around 2-3 pm GMT. And on a super rare occasion today there were 25 players online.
It's filled with hackers!
If you said this about galactix 3 months ago you wouldn't be wrong. However things have changed since I've became staff (I don't want to praise my self only but RicH was also doing a good job banning the hackers before i became staff). In my trial period on galactix i had seen many hackers on galactix and got a total of 100+ of them banned in my 3 months being a trial there, keep in mind 100+ hackers on a server which was basically dead at the time for me is a decent score. The hacker count dropped from 5 hackers per day (sometimes per 12 hours or less) to 1-3 hackers per week (usually the dupers which i will explain more about later in the thread). If the special occasion happens and a hacker is on galactix i try my best to get them banned as quickly as possible, but i also try to ban other hackers on the server as quickly as possible as well, so if you see a hacker in game feel free to tell me i'll come to spectate the player.
Does it still lack staff activity?
Currently Galactix doesn't lack staff activity we have 3 staff members that are active there (From all i know)

And you might have noticed that all of us are OG galactix players.
We try our best to also maintain activity on other gamemodes but since galactix doesn't actually have much hackers now at days i tend to be on Op Factions and Kit-Pvp most of the time. You can also catch me playing galactix from my alt Makedoncee.
Dupers? Are they still around?
Unfortunately yes, they are still around, but they are my main priority when it comes to banning people from galactix (of course my main priority is every hacker but i tend to focus on the dupers since they crashed the economy once and i don't want a repeat of that). Usually they have names similar to Framus, Caleum, Chema, dota, war and there ping is usually at 3 bars on tab and most of the time when you ask them something or point out to them something they will reply with i don't understand i'm filipino. Whats the dupe glitch?
So far I've got little information about the glitch. All i know is that they use a anvil and fortune books. I also suspect it involves using a hacked client, with the possibility of it being Huzuni since of the 6 time's I've screen shared them 5 they were using huzuni, and before i banned them on many occasions they admitted to using huzuni. I don't know to exact method of duping so i can't tell the owners to patch it up since i need more info about it mainly how it works.
