As far as I know saying the d word even without the I is still punishable and the excuse that u mightve had said duck instead of it has to be one of the worst I've heard.
About tthm I don't know why he said what he said, probably called it invalid punishment because of the context u said it in but that'd normally have been a valid ban.

Even saying what you said can obviously be made out to be an offensive (sexual) term. The punishment is valid.
