SkyPvP Economy enhancing Suggestion
Detailed description:
Due to the hard methods of making money on SkyPvP I would like to suggest some fun ways for players to achieve money and valuable items for their grind while enjoying themselves in the same time.
- Adding SkyBosses:
What are Sky-Bosses you may ask? Sky-Bosses will be creatures of different rarities that players can spawn, or the server will spawn, (sort of like an event), where players can kill this boss and obtain various loot according to the damage that they dealt to it and the rarity of the boss. The drops that Sky-Bosses will give could either be money, Boss crates, or custom mob drops, which could be used to enchant weapons / armor with better enchants or add custom effects to the players gear.
- Adding Fishing:
This is pretty self explanatory, Developers should add fishing to Sky-PvP like they did on Kit-PvP. There are a lot of ponds around the map that are only of use to the warrior pet. Which is deemed useless due to the fact that players have no access to the depth strider enchant.
- Increase the prizes of events such as the "Floral Event":
The Floral Event as of today only provides the winner of the event, with 2.5k in-game currency at max. Which is actually not even enough to buy a singular pearl (Pearl price: 5k per pearl). This event should be changed to give the highest flower provider the "Huge Flower pot", the 2nd best provider should be rewarded with a "Big Flower pot" and the 3rd and last provider should be rewarded with the "Small flower pot". The Huge Flower pot should have anywhere from 15k-50k, the Big Flower pot anywhere from 5k-15k and finally the small flower pot should have prizes ranging from 1k-5k.
- Adding Custom Items/ More Crates:
Developers could add Custom mob drops from Sky-Bosses or generally custom items that can be obtained by either ranking up, crates, etc. Those custom mob drops could either be sold directly to /shop or could be used to enchant items, or even be traded in an exclusive mob market / black market just like skyblock.
The other idea is that by adding more crates like the "Epic crate", "Boss Crate", "Unique Crate", Loot can be distributed equally to the crates according to what a player has done to achieve the crate and what he needs. For example unique crate could be achieved when a player is "Focused by the server". If the player manages to survive the server trying to kill him for the crate, he will be rewarded with the crate. Else, the player who manages to kill the "target" will receive the key. The unique crate could be a worse version of a godly crate. Another example is that Boss crates could be rare keys that would only be obtained from killing Rare bosses, only spawned by players or rarely spawned by the server itself. Those crates could contain some valuable custom items that the players could again sell or use to enhance their items.
Reason(s):
As we all know, SkyPvP is a gamemode very similar to Kit-PvP, but not equally balanced in all of its aspects. One of those aspects being the economy part. You see the only way to make money or get any type of valuable item in general (ie. Pearls) you have to grind for Lucky Blocks. Those Lucky blocks are not the most consistent source of income and it takes around one hour for 10k in-game currency which is a really bad way of making money. The next best way to make money is to grind a lot of kills, in order to acquire Battle Crates, which pay a bit better, around 30-40k in-game currency per 500 keys. Although this is the "Best" way to make money it is also really hard and also really exhausting, as well as, resource and time consuming. What I mean is that the best way to grind for kills is to get the best armor in the game, a lot of pearls, (which are near impossible to get due to the low luckyblock rates) and a lot of pets which are only obtained through crates, if you are lucky enough. Summarizing the given information, SkyPvP needs a new Money making method, that will be less risky than kill grinding and faster than Lucky Block grinding.
