Suggestion:
Seasonal Key

Detailed description:
I would like to suggest bringing the Seasonal Key rewards back to the old level milestones next season. In previous seasons, players received Seasonal Keys at Level 50, Level 90, and Level 100, but now they've been moved to Level 125 and Level 150.

I don't think this change has made the season better. Instead, it's made progression feel much more grindy and less rewarding. Most players could realistically reach Levels 50, 90, and 100 during the season, even if they weren't online all day. Those rewards kept people motivated because there was always something to work towards.

With the current system, players have to spend a lot more time grinding before they get a Seasonal Key. For many people, reaching Level 125 or 150 just isn't realistic, especially if they have school, work, or other commitments. Because of that, a lot of players stop grinding early since the next reward feels too far away.

Reason(s):
Bringing the Seasonal Keys back to Levels 50, 90, and 100 would make the season feel rewarding again, give players more motivation to keep playing, and make progression more enjoyable without making the rewards feel too easy to obtain. It would also encourage more players to stay active throughout the entire season instead of giving up halfway through

I think returning to the old Seasonal Key milestones next season would be a positive change for both the community and the server, as it rewards players consistently while still requiring them to put in effort.

Since the change, I've noticed a lot more players losing motivation because the rewards are too hard to grind. Some old SkyMines players have even stopped playing because the grind doesn't feel worth it anymore.

Example(s):
Current system: A player reaches Level 50, Level 90, and even Level 100 but doesn't receive a Seasonal Key because the rewards have been moved to Level 125 and Level 150. After reaching Level 100 without earning a single Seasonal Key, many players lose motivation to keep grinding because the next reward feels too far away.

Suggested system: A player reaches Level 50 and earns a Seasonal Key, then another at Level 90 and Level 100. These milestones keep them motivated to continue playing throughout the season instead of stopping early.

Overall , if a player reaches Level 90, they should receive a Seasonal Key like in previous seasons instead of having to grind another 35 levels to reach Level 125. This gives players more motivation and makes the seasonal grind feel more rewarding.

that is 100% true, why should u spend 4 hours even with the best booster possible (5x). this is just mental at this point. skymines will be so dead after it like skymines is a grindy gamemode but people not gonna spend 4 hours with 5x which is so hard to get (SO HARD) to get 1 ssnl key. like at this point everyone quits skymines.

I think this is a good suggestion, as me and many other OG and recurring players might leave playing the gamemode if there is no motivation. The early game is already hard enough.

Week 1 is the same for all players, from Celestial to Unranked, racing to reach Level 50 and get the new skins or backpack. Some lower-ranked players sell the keys, while others use them to gear themselves up.

Removing that and making it more P2W, or not rewarding players for putting in 5–20 hours of constant mining (especially since we likely won't have any chance of 5x progression packs until Level 125 or 150), while also surviving PvP clashes, makes the game less enjoyable.

This season (SkyMine Season 10), we've had two major changes with almost no communication. I understand balance changes happen, but removing important features without any notice, explanation, or alternative just leaves players confused and frustrated.

Back in July, /trade was removed. It was our only safe and trusted way to exchange beacons, money, Seasonal Keys, and valuable items. Since then, we've had no replacement or even an explanation.

Then, between August 5th and 7th, the Seasonal Keys from /level at Levels 50, 90, and 100 were removed without any announcement.

This hurts progression more than it looks. Reaching Level 50 takes around 10–15 hours for a new player, and those keys were the first exciting milestone. Players could open them for upgrades or sell them for Beacons or Pika Gold to progress.

Now the next Seasonal Keys are only at Levels 125 and 150. Even with good gear, a 2-3 5x experience booster, good pikaxe skin, and speed III boost, reaching Level 125 still takes 4+ hours. For the average player starting from scratch, it's easily 20+ hours Just nonstop mining.

Not everyone can grind that much. Many players have school, work, or other responsibilities and only have avg 1–2 hours a day.

didnt know where to post these

I agree bring back ssnl key at level 50/90/100.There is no way players will grind just to receive 2 ssnl keys at level 125 and level 150.

I agree, because beginners spend hours trying to reach level 50, and it’s not right that they don’t get anything in return.
