Detailed description:

the lightning scroll is a one-time usable combat item that costs 3 emeralds. when activated, it summons a lightning strike on the nearest enemy within 10 blocks if they are under open sky. the strike deals 6 hearts of true damage, ignoring armor, enchantments, and buffs. it cannot be used indoors or under blocks, and players can only hold one at a time. this makes it a situational but powerful tool to counter heavily geared enemies.​

Reason(s):

the lightning scroll gives weaker players a fair chance against stacked enemies in late game. in bedwars, emerald armor and protection upgrades often make fights one-sided. with this item, even undergeared players can deal meaningful damage if they use it smartly. it also adds a fresh strategic element, since players must choose the right moment to use the scroll while balancing its high cost and limitations.​

Example(s):

items like fireball, ender pearl, bridge egg, and jump potion are all one time use and give players a special advantage when used at the right moment. the lightning scroll would fit in the same category as these, providing a strong but situational effect that can change the outcome of a fight without being spammable.​

Though I feel like a better idea would be having a 3 seconds of thunderstorm to the nearest players in the 20 block radius, with each second dealing 2 hearts of damage (6 in total), in that way it will give people chances to not be punished by the full 6 hearts of damage by building a cover above their head.

A pretty unique item after all and would definitely love to try it ingame.

or the opponent will get a 2 seconds warning before he is struck, so he will have a small reaction time to either hide or block himself
