Detailed description:

Add a command to gift a rank/rankupgrade to another player.​

Reason(s):

Unlike all gamemodes where you can have rank vouchers in inventory and gift it, the only way to get a rank/rankupgrade in Bedwars is to have the gold in the account, and some people doesnt have the 5 gold necessary to gift them gold for a better rank.​

Example(s):

-/giftrank "Player" *opens GUI to purchase a rank for that "Player"*.
-/giftrankupgrade "Player" *opens GUI to purchase a rankupgrade for that "Player"*.​

You can purchase ranks and gold for other peoples on pika store. by logging in by thier username. although the suggestion you gave will likely to get rejected as it may affect economy of the server. No hate, the idea was great!

some F2P players earn gold by grinding/events and dont wanna waste irl money on a game, so the ability to gift ranks with the gold they earned would be way better option than p2w.
how would that even affect the economy??? only diffrence is that the pika gold is on diffrent account and every gamemode let you purchase ranks and stuff for gold and gift it to other players.

I still think it's unlikely to be accepted. The issue isn't whether F2P players can earn gold—it's that BedWars intentionally handles ranks differently from other gamemodes. If the developers wanted rank gifting with earned gold, they would likely have added it already.


Adding a /giftrank command also creates extra complexity, such as preventing mistakes, scams, chargeback-related issues, and additional support requests. Since you can already buy ranks for another player through the store using their username, there's already an official gifting method.


Because of that, I don't see enough benefit for the developers to spend time implementing another system. It feels more like a convenience feature than something the server actually needs, so I think it'll most likely be rejected.

The fact that other gamemodes have it doesn't automatically mean BedWars should. If the developers wanted BedWars gold to be used for gifting ranks, they could've implemented it already.


This doesn't fix a major issue; it's just a convenience feature. I don't see the developers prioritizing a whole new gifting system for something with an existing alternative, so I still think it's very likely to be rejected.

Suggestions aren't necessarly supposed to be major stuff, just because it doesn't fix a major issue doesn't mean itsn't a good enough suggestion.
"a whole new gifting system" its a single command that open a gui same as goldshop this could take less then 10 minutes to make.
"No hate" you making paragraphs trying badly to get a suggestion that doesn't affect a single player negatively denied.
get a life, adding a command won't kill you.

Suggestions aren't necessarly supposed to be major stuff, just because it doesn't fix a major issue doesn't mean itsn't a good enough suggestion.

"It takes 10 minutes" is something neither of us can verify. Simple ideas can still require backend work, testing, and maintenance.


I shared my opinion because that's what suggestion threads are for. If you disagree, that's fine—but telling someone to "get a life" over a different opinion doesn't strengthen your argument.

My point hasn't changed: I don't think the benefit is significant enough to justify implementing it, especially when there's already an official way to gift ranks through the store. You're free to disagree, just as I'm free to think it'll be rejected.
