Question about ban

I got banned for 1 day for swearing at a guy that has started the beef. He basically a bit later told me the same thing i told to him first when he pissed me off. My question is will he get banned too? I didnt screenshot the chat, cuz admin was here and i just got a ban. I dont ask for an unban, I made a mistake, but I wanna ask if the guy will be punished too, he started everything, not me. If you can check the logs so you can see it, I can also explain the whole story if needed. Thank you anyway!

If a staff member was online at that moment, and what the guy said was determined as enough for punishment, they will be punished as well. However, if a staff member wasn't online, and you or noone else reported them, they won't be punished.
