Pika Gold Quests​

Detailed description:

Add quests players can do to earn gold. The quests should be something just as easily achieved for free to play players as pay to win players. These quests take a while to complete and are not easy. As a reward for completing it though, the reward is one pika gold.​

Reason(s):

This idea is mainly because of the gold tax in the auction house. From my understanding, the two ways to get pika gold are to buy it or sell in-game items for it in the auction house. However, if you are a free to play player who had less than 5 gold before the introduction of the gold tax, you are unable to now sell anything in the auction house for gold. This eliminates both options of making any gold for many people. So, my idea was that there are quests, which reward very little pika gold, but allow people to get enough gold to start being able to sell things for pika gold in the auction house. These quests shouldn't obsolesce the gold tax, because they should take a while and require quite a bit of effort, but are there to make earning pika gold via the auction house more available to everyone.​

Example(s):

A possible quest could be that every day, you mine a specific amount of a specific ore. The ore changes every day until you have mined all 13, at which point you are rewarded with 1 pika gold. For all the instantly mineable blocks (stone, coal, iron, gold, copper, redstone, lapis, emerald, diamond and quartz) it could be 20,000 blocks mined. For netherite something like 1,500, for obsidian 1,000 and like 750 for crying obsidian. Missing a day resets everything. You could have an npc at spawn to talk to who offers you these quests. This makes it so that earning 1 pika gold takes nearly 2 weeks, so people can't quickly gain gold.

Another idea is for milestones, like reaching level 150.​
